Pretty Pink Posh Birthday Celebration Release & Blog Hop

Hello crafty friends!! I’m so excited to be celebrating Pretty Pink Posh’s 9th birthday with this incredible birthday release and blog hop!!

With every Pretty Pink Posh release I think to myself they could NOT possibly top this one but yet I again I find myself blown away!! With so many adorable images, brilliant designs, super fun layering stencils, and essential dies you would be hard pressed not to find something you simply could not live without.

My card today features the Layered Birthday Cakes Stencils, the Large Celebrate Shadow Die and the Wish Stamp Set.

To create this card I first ink blended over the front of an A2 top-folding white card base with the Layered Birthday Cakes Stencils and several Distress Oxides. I started with the base layer for the cakes and ink blended them lightly with Kitsch Flamingo, Spiced Marmalade, Mustard Seed, Salvaged Patina and Shaded Lilac. I then ink blended the detail layer for the cakes in the same ink colors with this time much more heavy-handedly. Next, I thoroughly dried my panel with my heat tool. I then ink blended the candles in Versamark ink and then heat-embossed them with gold embossing powder. Next, I ink blended the candle flames with Mustard Seed Distress Ink. I then finished the flames by coloring the centers with a copic marker.

Next, I die cut three “celebration” out of white cardstock with the Large Celebrate Shadow Die Set. I adhered two together and then die cut a shadow layer out of vellum. I then adhered the vellum shadow layer over the stacked “celebration” and then finished the sentiment by adhering then final die cut on top.

Next, I stamped a sub-sentiment from the Wish Stamp Set in Versamark ink onto white cardstock. I then heat-embossed it in gold embossing powder and then trimmed it down to a strip. Lastly, I finished the card by adhering the sentiments to the card front.
