Waffle Flower Crafts May Release Blog Hop and Giveaway

Waffle Flower Crafts May Release Blog Hop and Giveaway

Hello friends!! It’s time for a new Waffle Flower Crafts Release!! This is just the sweetest release, so many beautiful products!! Plus this release is the debut of Galina as a product designer, and oh boy her designs are going to knock your socks off!!!

I have several cards to share so lets dive right on in shall we!!

First up is a card featuring the awesome Flying Butterflies Die designed by Galina and the essential Label Maker Sentiments Combo and Mini Slimline Layers Die!

I actually created this card and showed the whole entire release in a LIVE on Waffle Flower’s IG account. You can check that out here.

To create this card I first die white cardstock and a sheet of pattern paper from JJ’s Rainbow paper pad with the largest die from the Mini Slimline Layers Die. I then adhered the patterned paper onto a mini slimline card base (6″ x 7″, scored at 3/5″). Next I die cut the white panel with the Flying Butterflies Die.

I then adhered craft foam to the backside of the panel and the flying butterflies die cut and then adhered them to the card front. Lastly, I finished the card by stamping a sentiment from the Label Maker Sentiment stamp set in Versafine Onyx Black Ink, die cut it with the matching, and the adhered it to the front with foam adhesive.

My next card also features the Flying Butterflies Die and the Label Maker Sentiments Combo but this time I created a shaker card with these sets.

To create this card I first die cut two A2 panels of white cardstock with the Flying Butterflies Die. When diecuting the second panel, I used the first panel as a guide to make sure both panels have the Flying Butterflies Die positioned in the exact same spot. Next I die cut some craft foam with Flying Butterflies Die. I then adhered one of the cardstock Flying Butterflies die cuts to the craft foam.

Next, I centered and adhered one of the Flying Butterflies cardstock panels over the front of an A2 top-folding card base. I then added liquid glue to the foam/cardstock butterflies die cut and then adhered them to the card front inside the opening of the cardstock panel. Next, I adhere craft foam to the rest of the card front.

I then filled the butterfly wells with seed beads and then adhered an A2 acetate panel to remaining butterfly cardstock panel. Next sealed the shaker shut by adhering the acetate/cardstock panel on top.

Lastly I finished the card with a sentiment that I made earlier from the Label Maker Sentiment combo.

My next card features beautiful Outlined Butterflies Panel Die also designed by Galina.

For this card I first ink blended the front of an A2 top-folding card base with Seedless Preserves, Kitsch Flamingo, Spiced Marmalade, and Mustard Seed Distress Oxides. Next, I die cut an A2 panel of white cardstock with Outlined Butterflies Panel Die and adhered it to the card front. I then ink blended some of the remaining butterflies from the first two cards with the same Distress Oxides and adhered them to the remaining craft foam butterflies.

Next, I used the Oversized Grace and Kindness Combo to create my sentiment. I first die cut two “kindness” out of black cardstock and one out of holographic cardstock. I then die cut a shadow layer out of vellum. Next, I adhered one of the black “kindness” to the holographic “kindness” and then adhered them to the vellum. I then adhered the last black “kindness” to the backside to add a little lift. Next, I stamped and sliver heat embossed my sub-sentiments onto black cardstock and then trimmed down to strips. Lastly, I adhered the my sentiments to my card front.

My next card features several more products designed by Galina, then Spread Your Wings Combo, Circle Butterfly Shaker Die, and the Butterflies Background Stencil.

To create this card first lightly ink blended the front of an A2 top-folding card base with Kitsch Flamingo, Speckled Egg, Rusty Hinge, Pine Needless, and Mustard Seed Distress Oxides. Then added glittery butterflies using the Butterflies Background Stencil and glitter paste.

Next, I created the shaker element by first die cutting white craft foam and white cardstock with the outline Circle Butterfly Shaker Die. I then die cut a piece of acetate with the other die from the set. I then adhered the craft foam to the card front, filled the well with iridescent sequins, and then sealed the shaker by adhering the acetate and cardstock outline on top. Next, I stamped some butterflies in Memento Tuxedo Black, copic colored them and then die cut them out with the matching dies. I then finished the card by adhering the butterflies and a sentiment created with the Label Maker Sentiment Set to the card front.

My last card features the pretty Wrapped Bouquet Combo illustrated by Karla Jodoin. I decided to do some no-line watercoloring with this bouquet.

To create this card I first stamped the bouquet in Fadeout ink onto Bristol smooth cardstock. I then watercolored the image with Tombow Dual Brush Pens. Once I had finished coloring the image I then die cut it out with the matching dies. Next, I die cut an A2 panel of white cardstock with the Stitched Flower Panel Die. I then adhered it and some of the flowers to the front of an A2 top-folding white card base.

Next, I stamped and white heat embossed a sentiment from the Wrapped Bouquet Stamp Set onto black cardstock. I then die cut the sentiment out with the matching dies and then finished the card by adhering it and the bouquet to the card front.
