Hero Arts December My Monthly Hero Blog Hop and Giveaway

Hello friends!! Today we are celebrating the release of Hero’s December My Monthly Hero Kit!! This kit is AH-MAH-ZING!! From the exquisite new Heroscape stamp set to every single one of the three new dies, it just filled with absolute gorgeousness!!

My card today features only products from the December kit!

To create this card I first die cut an A2 panel of Lavender Hero Hues Cardstock with the Clouds Window Die. I then lightly ink blended the front of a white A2 top-folding card base with Lemon Drop, Taffy and Thistle Reactive Inks.

Next, I stamped the three cloudy sky layers from the stamp set in Grape Slush + Thistle + Berry Smoothie, Berry Smoothie + Taffy + Creamsicle, and Creamsicle + Lemon Drop, using the partial inking technique to create gradations when stamped.

Next, using the windowed panel as a guide I then positioned the sun and rays and then stamped them in Lemon Drop + Creamsicle, also using partial inking again to create soft gradations over the images. I then finished my card by stamping a sentiment onto the windowed panel in Grape Slush, added foam adhesive and then adhering it to the card front.
