Hello all!! Today we are celebrating Heffy Doodle’s newest release!! This release is pretty epic!! There are rainbows, seals, puppies, interactive slimline dies, and UNICORNS, oh my!!
I created a card with the adorable Sealy Friends Stamp Set the Tiny Waves Stencil!
I first created the background by making a mask (a positive and a negative slope) out of contact paper using the First Snow Stencil. I then placed the negative mask over an A2 top-folding card base and then ink blended with Antique Linen and Tea Dye distress oxides to create a sand slope. Next, I watered down some distress ink and then splattered the ink over the slope. I then remove the negative mask and place the positive mask over the slope.
Next, I added pixie spray to the back of the Tiny Waves Stencil and placed it over my card front. I then and masked off the upper quarter with a piece of painters tape. Next, I ink blended over the stencil with Cracked Pistachio and Peacock Feathers distress oxides. I then removed the stencil, masked off the upper quarter again, and then ink blended with the same oxides once more. I then placed a mask I made out of contact paper with the Sliver Linings Could Border Dies onto the sky and ink blended clouds with Tumbled Glass distress oxide.
Next, I stamped several images from the Sealy Friends Stamp Set and a rock from the Otter Side Stamp Set in Versafine Onyx Black onto bristol paper. I then watercolored my images in with Tombow Dual Brush Pens.

Rock: N55
When I had finished coloring the images I then die cut them out with the matching dies. Next, I stamped a sentiment onto my card front in Versafine and then finished the card by adhering the sand layer and then all the remaining die cuts.
