Hello friends!! Today I’m popping in to share a sweet card I created with the July Large Die of the Month from Spellbinders!!
This new die set is so beautiful and I had so much fun creating my card for today! I played with my current favorite color palette, orange green and yellow, and created a simple greeting card!
To create this card I first die cut all my letters twice out of white cardstock and then adhered them together. Next, I die cut several leaves and flowers out of white cardstock. I then ink blended all the leaves in either Mowed Lawn or Pine Needles distress oxide.
I then ink blended the flowers in a combo of distress inks. I ink blended the yellow flowers in Mustard Seed and Fossilized Amber and the orange flowers in Wild Honey and Ripe Persimmon.
Next, I adhered the flowers to the leaves and then adhered them onto the letters. I then trimmed a piece of cream cardstock down to a 4 1/8″ x 5 3/8″ panel and adhered it onto a white A2 top-folding card base. Lastly, I finished my card by adhering my letters.
