Hero Arts Summer Catalog Release and Blog Hop

Hello friends! Today I’m joining Hero Arts in celebrating the release of their 2020 summer catalog!!

summer2020hop

One of my favorites from this new release is the Vineyard HeroScapes Stamp Set!! It is so fun to create scenes with the heroscape sets and this vineyard one is particularly beautiful! I used this set to build a pretty sunset winery scene.

To create this card I first die cut a 4 1/8″ x 5 3/8″ panel of white cardstock with the scene die from the Vineyard HeroScapes Frame Cuts. Next, I ink blended the bottom half with Green Apple. I then stamped the vineyard greenery in Moss and then Pine, skipping the first layer (most solid scene stamp) because I ink blended instead. I then stamped the grapes in Raspberry Jam. I then finished the vineyard by ink blending the bottom of the panel with a little Moss to create a gradation.

Next, I ink blended the top half of my panel with Lemon Drop, Fruit Punch, Berry Smoothie, and Grape Slush to create a gradation. When I finished ink blending the sky, I then adhered the two halves of my panel onto a Sand card base and then stamped my sentiment in Raspberry Jam.

Next, I stamped a wine glass, wine bottle and barrel. I used Raspberry Jam for the wine glass, Pine for the wine bottle, and Pumpkin Pie and Cup O’ Joe for the barrel. I then added more details to the images with copics. When I finished coloring I then die cut the images out with the matching dies and then adhered to the card front. Lastly, I die cut three clouds out of white cardstock, added a shadow with my copics, and then adhered to the card front.

For my second card I used the very cool Bookcase Peek-a-Boo Parts Stamp Set.

To create this card I first the main image from the Bookcase Peek-a-Boo Parts Stamp Set onto an A2 panel of white cardstock in INTENS-ified Black Ink. I then stamped another A2 panel with several sentiments and images using the Peek-a-Boo Doors Fancy Die as a guide.

I then copic colored all the images and then die cut the bookcase panel with the Peek-a-Boo Doors Fancy Die. Next I adhered the bookcase panel on top of the second and then adhered both onto an A2 card base.

I then stamped the cat from the set, copic colored it, and then adhered it onto the card front. Next, I stamped and white heat embossed a sentiment and finished the card by adhering it to the card front.

And that’s it! I hope enjoyed my cards! Be sure to check out the rest of the hop and giveaway below! 🙂
