Pinkfresh Studio + Altenew “Celebrate” Collaboration Blog Hop

Hello friends!! Today I’m joining the Pinkfresh Studio’s and Altenew’s collaborative blog hop and GIVEAWAY!! With this collaboration, these companies are releasing two new floral stamp sets, a paper pack and an ephemera pack!

I couldn’t resist playing with the Celebrate Today and the Celebrate Us Stamp Sets and created these two cards.

To create the Celebrate Us card, I started by stamping the florals. I used several Pinkfresh Studio inks and partial ink to create these layered blooms. For my yellow flower, I started by stamping the outline layer in Lemon Whip. Next, I stamped the most solid layer of the flower in Lemon Whip and then partially inked the tips of the petals in Sweet Mustard. For the next layer for the flower, I first stamped it in Sweet Mustard and then partially inked the edges with Marigold. For the center of the flower I used Marigold and then partially inked it in Doe. I then finished the flower, by stamping the detail layer for the leaves in Ballet Slipper first and then partially inked in Sparkling Rose.

I followed a similar process for the pink flower. I started with the outline and stamped it in Ballet Slipper. I then stamped the first layer for the flower in Ballet Slipper and then Sparkling Rose for the tips. For the next floral layer I used Sparkling Rose first and then partially inked it in Bubble Gum. For the center I used Marigold and Doe and finished up the leaves with Lemon Whip and Sweet Mustard.

Once I finished stamping the flowers I then die cut them out with the matching dies and then adhered them onto an A2 top-folding blue card base with foam tape. Next. I die cut a “hello” using the Sentiment Suite Hello Die three times out of white cardstock and then adhered together. I then finished the card by adhering “hello” to the card front with liquid glue.

For the Celebrate Today card, I first stamped and white heat embossed the floral image onto Bristol paper. I then watercolored the images in with Tombow Dual Brush Pens.

Pink Flowers: 761 + 723

Yellow Flowers: 025 + 993 + 977

Leaves: 291

Once I had finished coloring the images in, I then die cut the flowers out with the matching die.

Next, stamped and white heat embossed a sentiment from the set onto an A2 Top-folding mustard card base. I then splatted the card front with white acrylic paint. Once the paint had dried I then finished the card by adhering the flowers with foam dots.
