Hello friends!! It’s time for a new Pinkfresh Studio release!! This release features several new gorgeous floral backgrounds as well a pretty floral frame. In addition to the all the floral designs there is also a beautiful leaf focal design and several very handy hot foil sentiments.
My card features the stunning Blooming Peony cling stamp and layering stencils. This set is so unique because it allows to ink blend the background as well as all the flowers and leaves. This allows you to have dark background with light flowers!!
To create this card I first stamped the Blooming Peony cling onto the front of an A2 top folding white card base in embossing and watermark ink. I then pour white embossing powder over the image and then heat set with my heat tool. Next, I ink blended over the stamped images using the Blooming Peony layering stencils and several Pinkfresh Studio ink.
I used Peach Fuzz, Apricot, Passion Fruit, Berrylicious and Lemon Whip for the peony. For the smaller flowers I used Lemon Whip and Marigold. For the leaves I used Mint, Olive and Evergreen. And for the background I used Lavender and Regal Kiss to create a gradation.
When I finished ink blending the background I then added a drop shadow to the leaves and flowers with copic markers. I then stamped and white heat-embossed a sentiment from the Detailed Leaf stamp set onto gray cardstock. I then fussy cut the sentiment out and then finished the card by adhering it to the card front with foam adhesive.
