Waffle Flower Crafts November Release Blog Hop and Giveaway

Waffle Flower Crafts November Release Blog Hop and Giveaway

Hello crafty friends!! Welcome to Waffle Flower’s October 2021 Release Day! I’m happy to be hopping with the folks from Waffle Flower to show you all the fun new stuff awaiting you on the Waffle Flower website! This month, we’re brining you some fun floral dies and special wrappers!

My first card I’m sharing features the beautiful Sunrise Mountain Stencil Quad and the indispensable Oversized Thank You – Print Die Set.

To create this card I first ink blended an A2 panel of white cardstock with the Sunrise Mountain Stencil Quad and several Distress Oxides (Evergreen Bough, Shaded Lilac, Blueprint Sketch, Squeezed Lemonade, Wild Honey, Spiced Marmalade, and Ripe Persimmon). I then die cut the panel with one of the sentiment dies from the Oversized Thank You – Print Die Set.

I then die cut a scrap of white craft foam with the same sentiment die. Next, I adhered the cardstock and craft foam “thank you” together and then adhered the panel and the sentiment to the front of an A2 top-folding white card base. Lastly, I finished the card by stamping and white heat-embossing a sentiment from the Special Delivery Sentiments stamp set.

My next card features the Oversized Thank You – Print Die Set again as well as the Small Bouquet Combo and the Vase Variety Die Set.

To create this card I first stamped the bouquet from the Small Bouquet Stamp Set in Memento Tuxedo Black and then copic colored it. After I colored the image I then die cut it out with the matching dies. Next, I die cut a vase using a die from the Vase Variety Die Set out of white cardstock and then glued the flowers and vase together.

I then die cut a sentiment using the Oversized Thank You – Print Die Set out of white cardstock. Next, I stamped a sub-sentiment from the Oversized Thank You Stamp Set in VersaFine Onyx Black onto the front of a A2 top-folding white card base turned on its side. I then finished the card by adhered the flower, vase, and sentiment to the card front with foam adhesive.

My next card features the Stems Die Set, the Special Delivery Die Set and the Postcard Stamp Set.

To create this card I first die cut several flowers and leaves out of colored cardstock. I then die cut two vases out of white cardstock using the Special Delivery Die Set. I then stamped and gold heat-embossed a sentiment from the Postcard Stamp Set onto one of the vases. I then adhered some of the flowers and leaves to the vases and then adhered string to the back side of one and then lastly adhered the two together to create a spinner.

I then die cut the front of an A2 top-folding white card base with a die from the Nesting Ovals Die Set. I then die cut an A2 panel of pattern paper with a die from the Nesting Oval Frames DieI and then adhered the string between the pattern paper panel and the card front. Lastly I finished the card by adhering the oval frame to the card front and another A2 panel of pattern paper to the inside of the card.

My last card features the Stems Die Set and the Postcard Stamp Set once more but in a completely different way.

To create this card I first die cut several flowers and two vases out of white cardstock using the Stems Die Set. I then copic colored the die cuts and then adhered them inside one of the vases. I then adhered the second vase behind but upside down.

I then trimmed down a sheet of pattern paper and adhered it to the front of an A2 top-folding Kraft card base. Next, I stamped a sentiment from the Postcard Stamp Set in Fired Brick Distress Oxide and then finished the card by adhering it to the card front with foam adhesive.

  3. The oversized “Thanks” works really well. I love the stems in the white vase on the neutral brown background – the flowers really pop!

  4. The eclipse card is impressive but my fav is the Stems in the vase “Sending Love”. That is my favorite CAS card EVER. I love it!
