Waffle Flower Crafts September Release Blog Hop and Giveaway

Waffle Flower Crafts September Release Blog Hop and Giveaway

Hello friends!! It’s time for a new release at Waffle Flower Crafts!! This release has so many unique and versatile stamps, dies and even stencils!! And I can’t wait to share with you my creations!

My first card features the beautiful Anemone Combo and the Nesting Hexagon Frames Dies.

To create this card I first stamped the main image from the Anemone Stamp Set in Walnut Stain Distress Oxides onto Bristol smooth paper. I then poured clear embossing powder over the image and heat set. Next, I watercolored the image in with several Tombow Dual Brush Pens. When I had finished watercoloring the image I then die cut it out with the matching die. I then die cut a hexagon frame out of tan cardstock.

Next, I trimmed a sheet of pattern paper from the Half-Half Unicorn Dots paper pad to an A2 panel and adhered it to the front of an A2 top-folding white card base. I then adhered the frame and flowers to the card front with foam adhesive.

Next, I stamped the sentiment from the Anemone Stamp Set in Walnut Stain Distress Oxide. I then finished the card by die cutting the sentiment out with the matching die and adhering the sentiment to the card front with foam adhesive.

My next card features the gorgeous Moon Bay Stencil Trio and the new Sentiment Additions 2 Combo!

To create this card I first ink blended over the Moon Bay Stencil Trio with several Distress Oxides over an A2 panel of white cardstock.

I used Speckled Egg for the water, Dried Marigold and Rusty Hinge for the foreground mountains, Spun Sugar and Abandoned Coral for the background mountains, Mustard Seed for the sun/moom and Antique Linen for the sky.

I then throughly dried the panel and then stamped and white heat-embossed a sentiment from the Sentiment Additions 2 Stamp Set. Next I trimmed off a 1/8″ from both vertical sides of the panel. Lastly, I adhered the panel to the card front of an A2 top-folding white card base.

My last card for this release features the super fun Mandala Stencil Quad and matching die!

To create this card I first die cut the layers for the mandala out of white cardstock using the Mandala Stencil Matching Die.

I then ink blended over the layers using the Mandala Stencil Quad using several Distress Oxides (Squeezed Lemonade, Mustard Seed, Ripe Persimmon, Candied Apple, Picked Raspberry, Seedless Preserves, Wilted Violet, Shaded Lilac, and Blueprint Sketch).

Next, I created a square card base measuring 4 1/4″ x 4 1/4″. I then trimmed down cream cardstock to create a 4″ x 4″ panel and adhered it to the front of my card base. I then adhered the layers onto the card front with foam adhesive. Lastly I finished the card by add an enamel dot to the center of the mandala.

  1. Love these cards, especially the Moon Bay Trio. Stencils are becoming a favorite of mine, so I love seeing new ideas with them.

  2. Such beautiful cards!! I love the effect you got with the stencil on the second card, it is such a beautiful scene!

  3. Lovely cards! I especially liked the scene card using the Moon Bay Stencil Trio. Thanks for the inspiration in how to use that new product.

  4. Great use of one of my most enjoyed shapes, the hexagon. The colors in the mandala are beautiful.
The Moon Bay card is so peaceful. Ah!

  5. Beautiful coloring! I love your attention to detail especially on the first card! The berries look good enough to eat!

  6. Amazing cards. I especially love the first one — that Anemone set is definitely one of my favorites from this fantastic release.

  7. Terrific colorful cards Channin, and especially am loving the hexagon card and how you used it to spotlight the beautiful anemone image. Am loving it!!

  8. These are such pretty cards, as always. I really like the simple, graphic stenciled scene. It feels very southwest-at-dusk to me. I also appreciate you showing off the mandala set. With just the stencils and dies, I wasn’t quite seeing how it would work, but wow, it’s quite stunning. Thanks for all the inspiration!
