Waffle Flower Crafts July Release Blog Hop and Giveaway

Waffle Flower Crafts July Release Blog Hop and Giveaway

Hello friends!! Waffle Flower Crafts’ July release is now available and you guys it’s incredible!! The theme for this release is Christmas in July and even though it’s over 100 degrees here in Arizona I had no problem getting into the holiday spirit creating my samples with this release!

From snowflakes to poinsettias to cute winter hamsters this release has so many fun and festive new products. Many of which I know I will reach for time and time again because of their versatility and great design!

My first two cards features some of my very favorites from this release, the Classic Snowflake Die, the Labelmaker Holiday Combo and the Snowflake Background Stencil.

To create this card first created a background using glitter paste and the Snowflake Background Stencil over an A2 panel of Bristol Vellum paper. When the glitter paste was dry I then watercolored the panel with a rainbow of Tombow Dual Brush Pens.

After the panel had dried completely I than adhered it to the front of an A2 top-folding white card base. I then die cut the Classic Snowflake Die out of white glittery cardstock and craft foam. I then adhered the two together and then adhered them to my card front.

Next, I stamped a whole bunch of sentiments using the Labermaker Holiday Sentiments Stamp Set in Versafine Onyx Black and then die cut them with the matching die. Lastly I finished my card by adhering my sentiment to the card with foam adhesive and then adding some iridescent sequins.

My second with these same products is very similar and also very different at the same time.

To create this card I first created the foiled background using the Snowflake Background Stencil and Thermoweb’s Transfer Gel. When the gel had dried I then ran the panel through my laminator with a transfer sheet of Silver Shattered Glass foil. Next, I ink blended over the panel with several Distress Oxides (Chipped Sapphire, Blueprint Sketch, Mermaid Lagoon, and Salvaged Patina).

After I ink blended the panel I then adhered it to my card base and then die cut some silver glittery cardstock and craft foam to create my snowflake.

I then adhered my snowflake to my card front and then added a Labelmaker Holiday sentiment with foam adhesive. Lastly, I finished the card with some more iridescent sequins.

My next card the features the awesome Slimline Christmas Tree and Cozy Holiday Sentiments Stamp Set!

To create this card I first die cut a white slimline panel with the stitched frame and tree from the Slimline Christmas Tree Die Set. I the adhered a panel of mirrored gold cardstock to the front of an slimline card base.

Next, I adhered a rainbow of sequins to the card front over the mirrored cardstock. I then adhered my slimline panel to the card front with foam adhesive.

I then stamped and gold heat embossed a sentiment using the Cozy Christmas Sentiments Stamp Set onto mirrored gold cardstock. Lastly, I finished my card by adhering my sentiment with foam adhesive.

My next card features the gorgeous Poinsettia Panel Die and the Wonderful Christmas Combo!

To create this card I first dry embossed an A2 panel of white cardstock with the Poinsettia Panel Die. I then copic colored the poinsettias and then adhered the panel onto the front of an A2 top-folding white card base. I then die cut a white A2 panel and a panel of pattern paper from the Half-Half Dots Christmas Paper Pad.

I then adhered the two panels together and then adhered them to the card front. Next, I stamped and red heat embossed a sentiment from the Wonderful Christmas Combo onto a piece of patterned paper also from the Half-Half Dots Christmas Paper Pad.

I then die cut the sentiment out with the matching die and adhered it to my card front with foam adhesive. Lastly, I finished the card by copic coloring some of the negative white panel poinsettias, adding some of the green poinsettias for leaves, and adhering them to the card front.

My last card features the Holiday Stripes Panel Die, the Oversized Joy Combo and the Small Snowflake Dies.

To create this card I first I die cut an A2 panel of white cardstock with the Holiday Stripes Panel Die. I then adhered an A2 panel of acetate to the backside. Next, I flipped the panel over and colored the acetate with copic markers to make each stripe a different color.

I then adhered an A2 panel of gold glittery cardstock to the front of an A2 top-folding white card base. Next, I adhered the Holiday Stripes/acetate panel to the card front. I then die cut several snowflakes out of glitter white cardstock using the Small Snowflake Dies and adhered them to my card front. I then die cut “Joy” using the Oversized Joy Combo out of glittery and white cardstock.

I then adhered the two together but slightly off-set and then set them aside. Next, I die cut a shadow layer for the “Joy” out of vellum and then adhered my stacked “Joy” on top. Lastly, I stamped and white heat some some sentiments onto gray cardstock using the Oversized Joy Stamp Set and finished the card by adhering my sentiments to my card front.
