Hero Arts July My Monthly Hero Release Blog Hop and Giveaway

Hello friends!! Today’s the day we have been waiting for!! The new Hero Art July release is now available!! If you have been following along with our countdown then you have already had a pretty good peek at all the enchanting images from this kit!! But the kit comes with so much more!

Contents:

  • 6″ x 8″ Clear Stamp Set
  • 18 Coordinating Frame Cuts
  • 3 Dye Ink Cubes (Green Hills, Soft Purple, Pale Tomato)
  • Mushroom Washi Tape
  • Stardust Sequins

Kit Value: $72; Kit Cost: $34.99

With all these cute images, I couldn’t resist building a little scene!

To create this card I first stamped several images from the kit in INTENS-ified Black Ink onto white cardstock and then copic colored all the images.

When I had finished coloring all the images I then die cut them out with the matching dies.

Next, I stamped a sentiment from the set onto the front of an A2 top-folding sand card base in INTENS-ified Black Ink. Lastly I finished the card by adhering all my images with foam adhesive.

Now we can’t forget about the add-ons!!

My next card features the beautiful Magical Unicorn Bold Print background stamp.

To create this card I first stamped and gold heat-embossed the Magical Unicorn Bold Print over the front of an A2 top-folding white card base. Next, I ink blended over the card front with Grape Juice, Graph Slush, Berry Smoothie, and Raspberry Jam.

Next, I stamped and gold heat-embossed the Magical Unicorn Bold Print onto a scape of Bristol Smooth paper. I then watercolored a unicorn in with Tombow Dual Brush Pens. When I had finished coloring the image I then fussy cut it out.

Next, I stamped and gold heat-embossed a sentiment from the July kit onto Pitch Black cardstock. I then fussy cut the sentiment out and then adhered it to the card front. Lastly, I finished the card by adhering my unicorn with foam adhesive.

  1. Hi, Channin – I love your “very mush” card and the “one of a kind” card is also beautiful. Superb coloring on the flowers around the mushroom house – that whole scene is just gorgeous!

  5. Ohhh, YOU did the amazing gold embossed card. It looks incredible. I saw it yesterday on the FB Live with Libby. It looks gorgeous. And the gnome house and flowers looks great. I like how you didn’t do grass or other landscape items. It looks like a separate world…

  6. Fantastic cards! Love the pastel colors you used for your mushroom card. Great layout, too, with the mushroom house sitting on top of the stump and the flowers around it. So magical. And then there’s the bright and beautiful unicorn card. Thanks for all the great inspiration!

  7. Awesome cards. I am not a huge unicorn fan but really liked your unicorn background card.

  8. Thise colors on craft is beautiful! I’m hoping along with our generator going, no power for days, so I cant help, but laugh thinking your sweet card is in a flood area to build your sweet stool house on a stump. Tee hee. Thanks for the giggle.

  9. Thank you for your ideas! I love that little stump. It was one of the selling points of the kit for me!

  10. The coloring is fantastic and I enjoy all of the different flowers you added with the gnome card.

  11. Hello from Malta, New York. I can’t decide which of your cards I really love. Both are amazing. Both are elegant and different. Just beautiful.

  12. Love your unicorn card. The background really is a beautiful accent to the magical creature on the front.
