Pretty Pink Posh Birthday Celebration Blog Hop

Pretty Pink Posh Birthday Celebration Blog Hop

Hello friends!! Today I’m just so thrilled to be joining the celebrating going on over at Pretty Pink Posh for their 7th birthday!! To celebrate there’s a NEW release, a blog hop and several GIVEAWAYS!!

This release is just the sweetest!! Pretty Pink Posh always adds the most beautiful details to their products. Like all the tiny sweet little stitching details on their dies, or delicate and lacy floral stencils, to the itsy bitsiest images on their stamp sets!

My first card features the Peonies Stencil, All My Love Stamp Set and the Valentine Vines Die Set.

To create this card I first ink blended several flowers and the leaves onto a light pink card base with Distress Oxides (Mustard Seed, Worn Lipstick, Candied Apple, Mowed Lawn and Lucky Clover). I used small pieces of micropore tape to mask off the petals of already blended flower to add leaves or to layer additional flowers. Once I had finished ink blending the background I then die cut the front panel out of white cardstock using the Valentine Vines Die.

I then adhered the panel to the front of my card with foam adhesive. Next, I ink blended one more peony bud onto light pink cardstock and then fussy cut it out. I then stamped and white heat embossed a sentiment from the All My Love Stamp Set onto black cardstock. I then trimmed it down to a strip and adhered it and the flower bud to the card front.

My last card features the Layered Bokeh Stencils, Let’s Party Stamp Set and the Birthday Cake Die Set.

To create this card I first ink blended the background with one of the stencils (B) from the Layered Bokeh stencil set in several Distress Ink (Spun Sugar, Worn Lipstick, Spiced Marmalade, Squeezed Lemonade, Twisted Citron, Cracked Pistachio, Tumbled Glass & Shaded Lilac) on the front of an A2 top-folding card base. Once I had finished ink blending I then used the stencil one last time with glitter gel to create glittery circles. Next, I die an A2 panel of white cardstock with the Birthday Cake Die.

I then die cut a scrap of glitter card stock with the same die, but making sure the paper was positioned behind the cake. I then inlaid the cake sections into the birthday cake panel and used some micropore tape the pieces in place. Next, I adhered the panel to the card front with foam adhesive. I then finished the card with a sentiment that I white heat-embossed from the Let’s Party Stamp Set onto light pink cardstock.
