Hello friends!! Today all the new products in the Hero Arts Winter 2020 Catalog are now available!! To celebrate this release Hero Arts is hosting a fun inspirational blog hop and a GIVEAWAY!!
All the new holiday products have got me in such a festive mood and I can’t wait to make bunches and bunches of Christmas cards!!
Today I have a wintery holiday card to share which features several new products from this release!!
To create this card I first, stamped the background with the new Snowflake Swirl Bold Prints stamp. I used several inks Hero Arts inks (Cornflower, Summer Sky, Deep Ocean, and Navy) and partial inking to create a soft graduation. I started with Cornflower and inked up just the bottom inch of the stamp and then stamped the front of an A2 top-folding Dove White card base. I then ink up the stamp at little higher, but slightly overlapping where I had the Cornflower, with Summer Sky and stamped. I repeated this process till I had all used all my ink colors.
With my sky stamped I moved onto the frozen pond. I used a stamp from the Snowy Town Stamp Set and inked it up with Cornflower, stamped, and then partially inked it up the bottom edge with Summer Sky and stamped again. Next, I stamp some pine trees using the same set. I first inked the trees up in Moss, stamped, then partially inked up the bottom half of the trees with Pine and stamped again. I then die cut the trees out with the Snowy Town Frame Cuts and adhered them onto the card front. Lastly, I finished the scene by stamping two ice skaters in INTEN-ified Black Ink on the pond.
Next I created my front panel by die cutting an A2 panel of Dove White cardstock with the Snowflake Medallion Fancy Die. I then stamped and silver embossed a sentiment from the Snowy Town Stamp Set. Next, die cut an ornament topper out of silver mirrored cardstock using the Wish Ornament Die and then adhered it to my the panel. I then die cut three bows out of Dove White cardstock, stacked and adhered them together, and then adhered the dimensional bow to the panel. Lastly, I added foam adhesive to the back side of the panel and then adhered the panel to my card front.
Hero Arts will give away three $50 gift cards, drawn from the comments left across the hop. Enter by leaving a comment between now and Sunday, September 6th at 11:59pm Pacific, and the winner will be announced on the Hero Arts blog the following week.
