Hello friends!! Today I’m sharing a fun holiday card I created with some of the newest products from Waffle Flower Crafts! Today’s card combines my favorite coloring technique with a wintery scene to create a festive Christmas card!
VIDEO: Fa-la-la Christmas Card
Watch below or on my YouTube channel.
For this card, I first stamped the sheep and the light post in Versafine Onyx Black onto Bristol paper. I then watercolored the images in with Tombow Dual Brush Pens and then die cut them out with the matching dies. Next, I ink blended an A2 panel of white cardstock with Tumbled Glass, Salty Ocean, and Blueprint Sketch Distress Oxides. I then dried my panel throughly, then curved a sentiment in my MISTI and then stamped it in Versafine Onyx Black and then embossed it in glittery embossing powder. Next, I stamped and white heat embossed some snowflakes repeatedly on the panel.
I then die cut the panel with a die from the A2 Layers Die set to create a frame and then adhered the sheep to the frame and then blue craft foam to the frame to add dimension. Next, I added foam dots to the backside of the sheep to support them and then set the frame aside.
I then die cut three trees out of white cardstock using the tree from the Cozy Cabin Die set and then ink blended them with Mowed Lawn and Pine Needles Distress Oxides. Next I adhered the panel and frame onto the front of an A2 top-folding card base. I then adhered the trees and lastly finished the card by adhering light post with foam tape.
I hope you enjoyed my card and video!! Thank you so much for stopping by!
