Waffle Flower Crafts June Release and Blog Hop

Hello friends!! It’s time for another Waffle Flower Crafts Release!!! Wahoo!! And to celebrate Waffle Flower is hosting a blog hop and GIVEAWAY!!

I have been severely crushing on rainbows lately and can’t seem to stop incorporating them into most of my cards. Today’s rainbow card features the new Nesting A2 Banners Die and the Oversized Hugs Combo.

To create this card I first die cut white cardstock with all the dies from the Nesting A2 Banners Die set to create 16 nesting banner frames. Once I had finished cutting all my frames I then inked blended each with a different colored ink.

When I had finished ink blending all the frames, I then die cut a base with the largest die from the Nesting A2 Banners Die Set out of white cardstock and then adhered all the frames to it. Next, I adhered the banners onto an A2 card base and then trimmed off the overhang.

I then die cut three “hugs” out of white cardstock using the Oversized Hugs Word Die and then adhered all the diecuts together. Next, I stamped and white heat embossed a sub-sentiment using the Oversized Hugs Stamp Set and then trimmed the sentiment down to a strip.

I then adhered the panel onto an A2 top-folding white card base. Lastly, I finished the card by adhering “hugs” and my sub-sentiment to the card front.
