When it comes to flowers, one of my favorite ways to color is no-line watercoloring and these tulips were no exception. However, I did try a new-to-me color palette and I was so pleased with the results!

First I stamped the flowers in Antique Linen Distress Ink onto bristol paper. I then watercolored the flowers with my Tombow Dual Brush Pens.

    • Leaves: 158 + 126
    • Tulips: 856 + 676; Shadow: 451; Center: 993

Once I had finished coloring I then die cut them out with the matching dies.

Next, I ink blended a background with Seedless Preserves, Victorian Velvet, Barn Door, and Aged Mahogany distress ink onto the front of an A2 white top-folding card base made from 110lb white cardstock. Once I had finished ink blending I then splattered the card front with water and a paint brush to create water spots. When the panel was completely dry I then stamped and gold heat embossed a sentiment from the Tulips Stamp Set. I then finished the card by adhering the flowers with foam tape.

My next card features the sweet Little One Baby Combo illustrated by the uber talented Cassie Loizeaux.

For this card, I first stamped images from the Little One Baby Stamp Set in Memento Tuxedo Black and then colored the images in with copics.

    • Leaves: YG03 + YG67
    • Skin: E30 + E31 Cheeks: RV11
    • Yellow: Y11 + Y15
    • Pink: RV23 + RV25
    • Blue: B0000 + B01

Once I had finished coloring all the images I then die cut them out with the matching dies. Next, I trimmed the scalloped frame away from the greenery and then arranged the images on an A2 panel of gridded acetate.

Once, I had all the images arranged the way I liked, I then placed several long strips of painters tape on top of all the die cuts and then flipped them over and added foam squares to the back.

Next, I created my background by ink blending the front of an A2 top-folding card base with Tumbled Glass Distress Oxide. Then I splattered the card front with slightly watered down Tumbled Glass and Mermaid Lagoon Distress Ink. Next, I removed the backing on the foam squares and adhered my images and sentiment to the card front. I then carefully removed the painters tape and finished the card with some clear iridescent sequins adhered with Morning Dew Nuvo Crystal Drops.

Next up is a card featuring the adorable Puppy Power Combo illustrated by the incredible Big Bear and Bird.

First I stamped one of the smaller groupings of puppies in Memento Tuxedo Black onto white cardstock. I then copic colored the pups and then die cut them out with the matching dies when I was done.

    • Chow Chow: E30, E31, E33, E35, E08 Ears: RV11
    • French Bulldog: C-3, C-5, C-7, BG10 Ears: RV11`
    • Shih Tzu: YG91, E21, E53
    • Shar Pei: E30, E31, E43, Y28, E77

Next, I stamped the large grouping of puppies in Iced Spruce Distress Oxide onto panel of gray cardstock. I then stamped a sentiment onto hth panel in VersaFine Onyx Black. Next, I adhered the stamped panel onto craft foam.

I then adhered an 4 1/8” x 5 3/8” panel of gray cardstock onto an A2 top-folding card base made from 110lb white cardstock turned on its side. I then finished my card by adhering the gray panel and then the copic colored pups with foam tape.

And last but certainly not least, is a card featuring the super cute Be A Unicorn Die Set also illustrated by Big Bear and Bird.

WFC202003-310377-BeAUnicorn-Channin1

First I die cut the unicorn and the top mane layer out of white cardstock. I then ink blended the cheeks and bottom layer of the mane in Pinkfresh’s Ballet Slipper and then the top layer of the  mane and wings in Pinkfresh’s Sparkling Rose. Next, I die cut eyes with the Be a Unicorn Die out of black cardstock, the nose holes out of gray and the horn out of iridescent. I then added a small piece of tape to the backside of the unicorn and inlaid the eyes and nose and then adhered the horn and mane. I then finished the unicorn by adding a detail to the eyes with a white gel pen.

Next I created a rainbow by die cutting several oval frames with with the new Additional Ovals Dies out of white cardstock. Next, I ink blended each of the frames with several Pinkfresh inks (Passion Fruit, Sparkling Rose, Apricot, Lemon Whip, Key Lime, Meadow, Aquamarine, Summer Shower, Blue Jay).

Next I ink blended the front of an A2 top-folding card base made from 110lb white cardstock with a mask I created with contact paper and the Scenery Die in Summer Shower. I then die cut two layers of clouds with the Scenery Die and then ink blended the layers with more Summer Shower.

I then finished the card by adhering the rainbow then the cloud layers and lastly the unicorn to the card front.

I hope you enjoyed today’s cards! Thank you so much for stopping by!!
