Hello friends!! Today I have a sweet little project to share that combines copics and heat embossing!
Rejoice Rabbit with Copics and Heat Embossing
Watch below or on my YouTube channel.
First I, using my MISTI, stamped the main image from the Rejoice Rabbit Stamp Set in Coffee Loves Milk Dye Ink onto 110lb white cardstock. After I stamped the rabbit I left the stamp in the MISTI because I will use it later. Next, I then copic colored the image in. Once I finished coloring the image, I then placed the panel back into my MISTI and then stamped the rabbit again but this time in Versamark. I then poured on gold embossing powder and heat set. I then die cut it and a sentiment that I also stamped and gold heat embossed out with the matching dies.
Next, I created my background by first ink blending a white 110lb 4 1/8″ x 5 3/8″ panel in Peacock Feather, Peel Paint and Spun Sugar Distress Oxide. I then spattered the panel with water and with then watered down Peacock Feather, Peeled Paint and Worn Lipstick Distress Ink. I then finished the panel by splattering it with white Gansai Tambi watercolor.
When the panel was dry I then adhered it to an A2 top-folding card base made from 110lb white cardstock. I then finished my card by adhering my rabbit and sentiment with foam tape.
I hope you enjoyed today’s card and video!! Thank you so much for stopping by!
