Hello friends!! Welcome to day 2 of the countdown to Reverse Confetti’s November Release!! Yay!! On November 8th Reverse Confetti will be releasing 5 new stamp sets, 9 Confetti Cuts die sets and a new 6×6 paper pad! Today, day two of the countdown, we are sharing the Birdie Buddies and Huggable stamp sets!
I created a card with the adorable Huggable stamp set!!
First, I stamped an image from the Huggable Stamp Set in Memento Tuxedo Black. I then copic colored the image in and then cut it out with the matching dies. Next, I stamped the heart from the set in Ripe Persimmon Distress Oxide and then partially inked up the edge with Fired Brick Distress Ink to create a gradation. I then die cut the heart out with the matching die. Next, I ink blended a gradation on an A2 panel with Ripe Persimmon, Spiced Marmalade, and Wild Honey Distress Oxide.
When I finished ink blending I added water droplets and then added water down ink splatters with the same distress oxides. Next, I trimmed the panel down 1/8″ from the top and one of the sides and then die cut the circle with a die from the new Circle Tag Die. I then popped the panel into my Misti and stamped the sentiment. I then finished the card by adhering the panel onto an A2 top-folding card base, then adhering the heart, and last critters with foam tape.
