May My Monthly Hero Release Blog Hop and Giveaway

Hello crafty friends!! It’s release day!! We’ve cooked up some creativity with the May My Monthly Hero kit release. Join us in the kitchen for a kit made for sharing birthday greetings, friendship, or decorating your baked goodies! The main kit features a gorgeous kitchen-themed Cover Plate die. The A2-sized cling stamp adds a great backsplash to your scene, or is versatile as a background on any project. There are dies for embellishing with pots or adding food, a fun new “cast iron” embossing powder, and messages for your card and gift giving needs. The kit is rounded out with cardstock in colors that give a vintage kitchen vibe, as well as wonderfully theme-appropriate baker’s twine.

Kit Contents:
  • 4″ x 6″ Clear Stamp Set
  • Cover Plate Fancy Die
  • 6 Additional Fancy Dies
  • Cling Background Stamp (4.625″ x 5.875″)
  • 12 Sheets of Cardstock – 4 each of Pink, Mint, White (5.5″ x 8.5″)
  • Watermark & Embossing Ink Cube
  • Cast Iron Embossing Powder (0.5 oz.)
  • Blue Baker’s Twine (10 yards)

Kit Value: $70 Kit Cost: $34.99

May first card features the awesome cover plate fancy die, the background cling, and even the clear stamp set from the kit.

To create this card I first die cut the cover plate die out of white cardstock. I then copic colored the scene.

Next, I stamped the front of an A2 panel of Mustard cardstock with the background cling stamp vertically in Butter Bar Shadow Ink. Next I added a litter shadow to the tiles with a copic market. I then stamped a sentiment in INTENS-ified black ink.

Lastly, I finished the card by adhering the colored die cut panel with foam adhesive.

My next card features one of this month’s add-on products, the Kitchen Shelf Background Stamp.

To create this card I first stamped the background stamp onto the front of an A2 top-folding white card base in INTENS-ified Black Ink. After I stamped the background I then copic colored all the images.

When I had finished coloring the images I then stamped and white heat-embossed a sentiment from the new Olive Branch Stamp Set onto Pitch Black cardstock.

I then fussy cut the sentiment out and lastly finished the card by adhering the sentiment to the card front with foam adhesive.
