Waffle Flower Crafts January Release Blog Hop and Giveaway

Waffle Flower Crafts January Release Blog Hop and Giveaway

Hello crafty friends!! Today I’m joining the celebration over at Waffle Flower Crafts for their January 2022 release!! I’m joining the blog hop and sharing several cards I created with this release.

My first card features the stunning Elegant Flowers stamps and dies as well as the Tiny Dot Foil Plate.

To create this card I first stamped and black heat embossed the several flowers and leaves from the Elegant Flowers Stamp Set onto Bristol smooth paper. I then watercolored the images using Tombow Dual Brush Pens. After I watercolored the images and they were dry I then die cut them out and then added white gel pen accents.

Next, I hot foiled an A2 panel of black cardstock with the Tiny Dot Foil Plate and Pewter Glimmer Hot Foil. I also hot foiled the Simply Said Hugs on a scrap of black cardstock in Pewter as well. I then die cut the Simply Said Hugs out with the matching die and adhered the foiled panel onto the front of an A2 top-folding black card base. Lastly I finished the card by adhering the flowers, leaves and sentiment to the card front with foam adhesive.

My next card features the very cool Waterfall Stencil Trio.

To create this card I first ink blended the scene with the Waterfall Stencil Trio and several Distress Inks over an A2 panel of white cardstock. I used Chipped Sapphire for the foreground, Blueprint Sketch for the middle ground, Shaded Lilac for the background, Tumbled Glass and Mermaid Lagoon for the waterfall, Kitsch Flamingo for the moon, and I used all same inks plus Black Soot for the sky. Once I finished ink blending the scene I then splattered white watercolor paint over the sky to create the look of stars.

Next, I allowed my panel to dry completely and then I stamped and silver heat embossed a sentiment from the new Elegant Sentiments Stamp Set. I then die cut the panel with a die from the A2 Layers Die set to create a subtle frame. I then adhered the frame to the front of an A2 top-folding white card base with from adhesive. Lastly, I finished my card by adhering the remaining portion of the panel to the card front with foam adhesive.

My next card features several products, the Elegant Frames Die Set, Triple Line Diamond Foil Plate, February Birth Flower – Violet and Primrose stamps and dies.

To create this card I first stamped several flowers and leaves from the February Birth Flower – Violet and Primrose stamp set in Memento Tuxedo Black. I then copic colored the images and then die cut them out with the matching die set. Next, I die cut the Elegant Frames Dies out of white cardstock. I then gold heat embossed the oval frame and then set the die cuts aside.

Next, I dry embossed an A2 panel of light pink cardstock with the Triple Line Diamond Foil Plate and then adhered the panel onto the front of an A2 top-folding white card base. I then adhered the the Elegant Frames diecuts and the flowers to the card front. Lastly, I finished the card by stamping and white heat-embossing a sentiment from the Happy Anniversary Duo Stamp Set onto black cardstock, trimmed it down to a strip and then adhered it to the card front.

My last card features the February Birth Flower – Violet and Primrose stamps and dies again as well as the new Elegant Envelop Die Set and the Wax Seals Die Set.

To create this card I first stamped several flowers from the February Birth Flower – Violet and Primrose Stamp Set in Memento Tuxedo Black. I then copic colored the images and then die cut them out with the matching dies. I then die cut the envelop out of white cardstock and the seal out of mustard cardstock. Next, I assembled the envelop and seal and then set them aside.

I then stamped flowers onto the front of a yellow A2 top-folding card base turned on its side in Wild Honey Distress Oxide and then a sentiment from the Elegant Sentiments Stamp Set in Memento Tuxedo Black. Lastly, I adhered the flowers, envelop and seal to the card front.
