Rainbow Love You Card

Rainbow Love You Card

Hello friends!! Today I’m joining the Love Wins Hop on Instagram celebrating Pride month and the LGBTQIA community! This hop has received so much support that it has become a five day hop and today is the last day. So many incredible projects have been shared and there are a ton of giveaways so be sure to head over to Instagram and check it out. Today’s hop starts with @mayhamcraftycards.

I rarely can resist the opportunity to incorporate rainbows into my card designs and today’s card is no exception.

To create this card I first ink blended the front of an A2 top-folding white card base with several Hero Arts Reactive Inks (Fruit Punch, Creamsicle, Lemon Drop, Key Lime Fizz, Pool Party, Blue Hawaii, and Berry Smoothie). After ink blending I splattered water over the card front to create water spots. Once the panel dried I then smooshed the Reactive Inks out onto a piece of acetate, added water, and then splattered the card front with the water-downed ink.

Next, I die cut a white A2 panel with the Geometric Sun Cover Plate and then adhered the panel to the front of my card front. I then die cut “love you” using the Love You Stamp & Cut XL set out of white cardstock. Next, I ink blended over the words with the same Reactive Inks and then splattered them with the water-downed ink.

I then adhered the words to the card front with foam adhesive. Lastly, I stamped and white heat embossed a sentiment from the Message Stripes Stamp & Cut XL set and adhered it to my card front.

I hope you enjoyed my card! Thank you so much for stopping by!
