Hello crafty friends!! Today Hero Arts launches their Summer 2021 Release and I’m so excited for you to see all the amazing products!! To celebrate Hero Arts is hosting an inspirational blog hop and giving away THREE $50 gift certificates!
I have four cards to share so let’s dive right on in!!
My first two cards features the Hero Florals Strawberries Line Art Stamp Set.
To create this card first stamped the strawberries and flowers in INTENS-ified Black Ink onto Bristol Smooth paper. I then water colored the images in with Tombow Dual Brush Pens. Once I finished watercoloring the images I then either fussy cut them or die cut the image out.
Next, I trimmed a piece of Pesto cardstock down to 4 1/8″ x 5 3/8″ and adhered it onto the front of an A2 top-folding white card base. I then stamped a sentiment from the set in INTENS-ified Black Ink and lastly I finished the card by adhering my images with foam adhesive.
For my next card I also watercolored with the Hero Florals Strawberries Line Art Stamp Set but this time I created a background with the images.
To create this card I first stamped several strawberries, flowers, and a sentiment in INTENS-ified Black Ink over an 4 1/8″ x 5 3/8″ panel of Bristol smooth paper.
Once I finished stamping the panel I then watercolored all images and background in with Tombow Dual Brush Pens. When I finished coloring the panel I then finished the card by adhering the panel to the front of an A2 top-folding white card base.
My next card features the awesome Looking Glass Rain & Clouds Die Set and the Message Strips Stamp & Cut set.
To create this card I first cut five squares out of white cardstock. Next, die cut two of the squares with the cloud layer dies from the Looking Glass Rain & Clouds Die Set. On another one of the squares I die cut with the rain die but I die cut the panel twice to leave a blank space on the panel. I then die cut another one of the squares with a smaller square die to create a frame and I left my last square panel alone.
Next, I ink blended the cloud and rain panels. However, I did create an arched mask and applied it to the rain panel before I ink blended it. When I had finished blending the panels I then copic colored a rainbow on the rain panel. Next, I trimmed down a sheet of Pebble cardstock to a 4 1/8″ x 5 3/8″ panel and adhered the panel onto the front of an A2 top-folding white card base. I then stamped and white heat embossed a sentiment from Message Strips Stamp & Cut set and the finished my card by adhering my dimensional scene to my card front.
My last card features the Barrel Wave HeroScape Stamp Set and the Color Layering Royal Angelfish Stamp Set.
To create this card I first stamped the layered barrel wave image in several Reactive Inks (Pool Party, Splash, & Blue Hawaii) upside down at the top of my A2 top-folding white card base. I then ink blended the bottom portion with the same Reactive Inks. Next I stamped the layered fish in INTENS-ified Black Ink and several Reactive Inks (Lemon Drop. Creamsicle, Fruit Punch, Blue Hawaii). I also stamped several coral also in INTENS-ified Black Ink and several Reactive Inks (Creamsicle, Fruit Punch, Thistle, and Grape Slush).
When I finished stamping the fish and coral I then die cut them out with the matching dies. Next, I created a sand by hand cutting a slope and then ink blending it with Soft Vanilla and Pumpkin Pie Ink. I then adhered the images and the sand layer to my card front. Lastly, I finished my card by stamping and white heat embossing a sentiment, fussy cutting it out and then adhering it to the card front.
