2001-Release-Blog-Hog-Badge

This month’s release is so sweet and once again I have several cards and even a VIDEO to share so lets dive right on in shall we! šŸ˜‰

First up is a shaker card that I created with the gorgeous Fresh Rainbow Sentiments Combo designed by the brilliant JJ Bolton!!

I love everything that JJ designs and this new combo is no exception!! The moment I got my hands on this set I knew I had to create a shaker card!!

Fresh Rainbow Shaker

Watch below or on my YouTube channel.

I created two versions of this card. The two cards are basically the same except for the sentiment and the shaker contents.

First I die cut 3 A2 panels of white cardstock and a panel of white craft foam with the Fresh Rainbow Panel Die. I then altered craft foam panel and one of the cardstock panels to remove the center sentiment rectangle to allow the shaker contents to flow from one side of the rainbow to the other.

Next, I ink blended the upper right and lower left negatives from one of the diecut panels with Tumbled Glass distress ink and a mask I created with the Scenery Die to create a cloudy sky. Next, I ink blended all the negatives for the rainbow with several distress inks and oxides. Once all the negatives were ink blended I then adhered one of the unaltered panels onto an A2 top-folding card base. I then inlaid the diecuts.

Next, I created the shaker wells by first adhering the craft foam panel and then adding the altered cardstock panel onto.

Next I stamped my sentiment in Versafine Onyx Black Ink and then clear heat embossed onto the last Fresh Rainbow Panel. I then adhered the panel onto a panel of acetate.

Next, I applied antistatic powder over my shaker wells to remove any excess adhesive and then filled my wells with either seed beads or sprinkles. After I filled the wells I then adhered the top panel over to sealed the whole thing shut.

Next up is a card I created with the beautiful Blossoms Combo Set illustrated by Karla Jodoin.

Whenever I get my hands on a beautifully intricate floral stamp set I find it difficult to do anything other than no-line watercoloring and once again that is exactly I did here! šŸ˜‰

First, I stamped the bouquet in Antique Linen distress ink onto Bristol paper. I then colored the flowers in with my Tombow Dual Brush Pens. Once I finished watercoloring the flowers in I then diecut them out with the matching die.

I then ink blended with Seedless Preserves and Aged Mahogany distress ink over an A2 panel of purple cardstock to create a gradation. I then splattered some watered-down Wilted Violet distress oxide and some Gansai Tambi gold paint over the panel. Once the panel had completely dried I stamped and gold heat embossed a sentiment and then adhered the panel onto an A2 top-folding card base. Next, I adhered the flowers with foam tape and then finished the card with purple sequins.

Next up is another shaker card! However this card features the Sweet Scallops Panel Die also designed by JJ Bolton.

WFC202001-SweetScallopsPanelDie-Channin 1

First, ink blended over an A2 panel of white cardstock with several Pinkfresh Studio inks (Coral Reef, Ballet Slipper, Peach Fuzz, Lemon Whip, Mint, Ocean Breeze, Seaside, and Soft Lilac). I then diecut the panel as well as a panel of craft foam with the Sweet Scallops Panel Die.

Next, I stamped and white heat-embossed a sentiment from the Fresh Rainbows Sentiments Stamp set onto the panel. I then constructed the shaker card by adhering the craft foam panel onto an A2 top-folding white card base. I then filled the wells with some iridescent glitter. Next, I adhered the blended panel onto a panel of acetate and then adhered the two to the front of the card.

Next is another card I created with the Sweet Scallops Panel Die and Love You Bunnies Combo illustrated by Cassie Loizeaux.

WFC202001-LoveYouBunniesCombo-Channin 1

First, I stamped the bunnies and some accessories from the Love You Bunnies Stamp Set in Vintage Photo distress ink. I then colored them in with copics and diecut them with the matching die. Next, I dry embossed an A2 panel of white cardstock and then stamped a sentiment from the Oversized Love Stamp Set in Antique Linen distress oxide and then heat embossed it with iridescent embossing powder.

I then die cut a frame and heart out of pink cardstock and a larger heart out of glittery cardstock. I also die cut a frame out of pink craft foam and adhered the two together. I then finished the card by adhering the embossed panel onto an A2 top-folding card base. I then adhered the pink frame, the hearts, and images to the card front.

Next is the Oversized Love Combo also designed by JJ Bolton.

WFC202001-OversizedLoveCombo-Channin 1

I love the oversized series by JJ they make creating a cards so fast and easy.

For this card I first, ink blended an A2 panel with several Pinkfresh Studio Inks (Coral Reef, Ballet Slipper, Peach Fuzz, Lemon Whip, Mint, Ocean Breeze, Seaside, and Soft Lilac). I then die cut the panel with the Hearts Panel Die and carefully saved all the heart negatives. I then adhered the panel onto an A2 top-folding card base and then I inlaid the hearts but in reverse diagonal order. Next, I die cut the Oversized Love Word Die from white and glitter cardstock.

WFC202001-OversizedLoveCombo-Channin 2

I then adhered the two together but slightly off-set. Next, I stamped a sentiment from the Oversized Love Stamp Set in Antique Linen distress oxide and then heat embossed the sentiment with iridescent embossing powder. Next, trimmed the sentiment down to a strip. I then finished by adhering the “love you” and sentiment strip onto the card front with foam tape.

And next up is my last card featuring the sweet Special Delivery Combo illustrated by Cassie Loizeaux.

WFC202001-SpecialDeliveryCombo-Channin 1

First, I created the background by creating a mask out of contact paper using the Hearts Panel Die. I then stuck the contact paper down onto an A2 panel of pink cardstock and then ink blended with Spun Sugar and Worn Lipstick distress oxide. I then trimmed the panel down 1/8″ on each side and then adhered the panel onto an A2 top-folding white card base.

WFC202001-SpecialDeliveryCombo-Channin 2

I then created my focal point by first stamping the background in Worn Lipstick distress oxide and Festive Berries distress ink. Next, I stamped the flowers in Mustard Seed distress oxide and Wild Honey distress ink. I then stamped the leaves in Peeled Paint distress oxide and Lucky Clover distress ink. Next, I stamped the bird in Tumbled Glass distress oxide, Broken China and Mermaid Lagoon distress ink. I stamped the details of the bird in Chipped Sapphire distress ink. I then finished the image by stamping the sentiment and letter in Barn Door distress ink. I then die cut the image with the Nesting Postage Die and adhered it to the card front with foam tape.

And that’s it! Phew! I hope you enjoyed! Thank you so much for stopping by!
