I got to work with the new Disc Bound Bundle which includes three new dies and several  binding discs perfect for organizing your craft supplies in a plethora of ways!!

The Disc Bound Bundle includes,

  • Color Combos A2 Panel Die
  • A2 Disc Bound Die
  • A7 Disc Bound Die
  • Binding Discs (Red, Pink, Cream, Pool, Mint, Gray)

I decided to use these new products to create book to help me organize my copic blends!

To create this little book, I first die cut 16 pages using the largest die from the Color Combos A2 Panel Die set. I then die cut 8 tabs out of colored cardstock. I then folded each  tab and glued it closed. Then I sandwiched each tab between two pages which I glued together. So in total I will have 8 pages in my book excluding the cover, but I can always add more pages as my copic blends grow. I then added each page onto 5 gray discs.

Next, I started to create my swatches. I first die cut several squares using the smaller plain square die from the Color Combos Die Set. I then positioned a list stamp from the Bullet List Stamp Set in my MISTI to stamp the lower half of each square.

I then stamped all my squares in Memento Tuxedo Black. Next, I positioned a leaf from the Bouquet Builder 1 Stamp Set in my MISTI and stamped the upper half of all my squares. Once my swatches were stamped I then colored the leaves with my copic combinations and labeled each swatch.

Next, I organized my swatches by color and then adhered them to the correct color page. I then decided to finish my book by adding a cover. I die cut my cover with the largest die from the A2 Disc Bound Die out of white cardstock. I then added my cover to the discs.

I then decided to dress up the cover more by adding a rainbow. I used the Rainbow Die and die cut a rainbow out of white, red, orange, yellow, green, and blue cardstock. I then inlaid 5 colored arches into the white rainbow frame. I then adhered my rainbow to my cover.

And that’s it! I hope you enjoyed!

  1. Your book is so fantastic and quite inspirational. I like how I will be able to make my own for organizing inks, jotting thoughts, etc. So much this system can be used for.

  2. Love how you used it for your marker blends. I think I would try this with my inks – I’m always at a loss for ink blends so this would be a great reference when I get stuck. Great idea! Thanks 🙂

  3. This is a wonderful project for “swatching” colors. I think it would be great for all mediums: alcohol markers, pencils, watercolors, ink pads, etc. This is something I’ve been needing to do for a long time.

  4. In the past I often used sticky notes as tabs but eventually they would fall off. I love your new tab dies!
