January My Monthly Hero Kit Blog Hop and GIVEAWAY

Hello friends!! It’s time for a new My Monthly Hero Release!! This month’s new kit is just so gorgeous and happy!!

I used the kit to create a colorful watercolored card.

To create this card I first, stamped the flowers from the January kit in Versafine Onyx Black ink onto an A2 panel of watercolor paper. Next I used Tombow Dual Brush Pens (725, 685, 126, 379, 969) to watercolor the flowers in.

When I finished coloring the flowers I then watered many of the similar colors plus a yellow (725, 685, 126, 379, 025) and then painted the background. When the panel was dry I then added a shadow around flowers with a couple gray Tombow Dual Brush Pens (N89 & N75). Next, I stamped a sentiment onto the panel and then adhered it onto the front of an A2 top-folding card base.

I then stamped a bee in Versafine Onyx Black onto a scrap of watercolor paper, watercolored it (025, 933, 451) and then die cut it with the matching die. Lastly I finished the card by adhering the bee to the card front with foam tape.
