Hello friends!! The Hero Arts January 2023 My Monthly Hero Kit is now available! We are celebrating with a hugh inspirational blog hop and GIVEAWAY!!
Before we dive into my projects let’s first take a look at the new kit!

Kit Contents:
- Clear Stamp Set, 6″ x 8″
- 18 Fancy Dies
- 2 Frame Cuts
- Heart-Shaped Daisies Stencil, 6″ x 6″
- 3 Sheets of Kraft Cardstock, 5.5″ x 8.5″
- 1 Sheet each of Azalea and Peony Cardstock, 5.5″ x 8.5″
- Love Mix Sequins
Kit Value: $77
Kit Cost: $34.99
My first card features the stamps and dies included in the kit.

To create this card I first die cut the matchbox cover out of white cardstock. I then stamped the bird image onto the cover in INTENS-ified Black ink. I then created masks for the birds by stamping the image onto a full-adhesive post-it note and then fussy cutting them out. I then placed the masks over the birds and then ink blended the cover in Peony Hero Arts Core Ink. I then removed the masks and then copic colored the images. After I copic colored the images I then re-inforced the score lines on the cover with my score tool and score board. I then folded my cover.

Next, I die cut a matchbox box out of Mist cardstock. I then masked off the walls and ink blended the center of the box with Pool Party Reactive ink. Then with the masking tape masking the corners, I ink blended the edges where the side walls meet. Next, I die cut two birds out out of white cardstock. While I was die-cutting I placed a piece of copy paper under my cardstock to prevent marring the backside of my birds with my cutting plate because I wanted to flip one of the birds over. I then copic colored the die cuts.

Next I adhered the matchbox cover, box and birds to the card front with foam adhesive. I then stamped and white heat-embossed a sentiment onto Pitch Black Cardstock. I then fussy cut the sentiment out and then finished the card by adhering it to the card front with foam adhesive.
My next project features the 3D Matchbox Fancy Dies, the Box of Chocolates Fancy Dies and the Mini Hearts Bold Prints. I filled my sweet little matchbox with paper chocolates but this box could hold real valentines treats as well.

To create this box I first stamped some Coral cardstock with the Mini Hearts Bold Prints stamp set in Raspberry Jam. I then die cut this cardstock with the cover die from the 3D Matchbox Fancy Dies and then constructed the cover. Next I die cut a ribbon and bow out of Peony cardstock using dies from the Box of Chocolates Fancy Die set and then adhered them to the cover.

I then die cut the matchbox box out of Peony cardstock with the 3D Matchbox Fancy Dies. I then folded and constructed the box. Next, I die cut chocolates with the Box of Chocolates Fancy Die set out of Cup O’ Joe and Woodland cardstocks. I cut two of each chocolate, one from each of the brown cardstocks. I then hand cut some of the accents out from the rest of the chocolate and then adhered them to the opposite brown base.

Next, I die cut wrappers out of Dove White cardstock and then adhered the chocolates to the wrapper with foam adhesive. Then I adhered the wrappers with the chocolates to the inside of the box also with foam adhesive.
