Waffle Flower Crafts January Release Blog Hop + GIVEAWAY

Hello crafty friends!! Welcome to the Waffle Flower January Release Blog Hop! I’m happy to be hopping with the folks from Waffle Flower to show you all the fun new stuff awaiting you on the Waffle Flower website! My card today features several products from this release. I used the Line Frames foil plate and stencil to create the background, the Little Birdie Die for an accent and the Oversized Hope Print Die and Little Birdie Sentiments Stamp Set for the sentiment.

To create this card I first hot foiled a panel of white cardstock in Pewter with the Line Frames Foil Plate. Then with the Line Frames stencil I ink blended the pattern in with several Distress Inks (Picked Raspberry, Spiced Marmalade, Cracked Pistachio & Shaded Lilac). When I finished ink blending with the stencil I then ink blended with Antique Line over the panel. I then adhered the panel to the front of an A2 top-folding white card base.

Next, I die cut bird out of white cardstock with the Little Birdie Die. I then cut off the feet and then copic colored the bird. Next I adhered the wing to the base of the bird and then set aside. I then die cut “hope” out of white cardstock and then the shadow layer out of vellum with the Oversized Hope Print Die. Next I adhered the white “hope” and the vellum shadow layer together. I then adhered bird to the sentiment and then adhered them to the card front with foam adhesive.

Next, I stamped and white heat-embossed a sentiment from the Little Birdie Sentiments Stamp Set onto gray cardstock. I then fussy cut the sentiment out and adhered it to card front with doubled up foam adhesive.
