Hero Arts Holiday 2022 Release Blog Hop

Hello crafty friends!! The Hero Arts Holiday release is now available!!

I have a bunch of cards to share so lets just dive in! My first card features a fall set, the Grateful Pumpkin Combo.

To create this card, I first stamped several images from the Grateful Pumpkin stamp set in INTENS-ified Black Ink. I then copic colored the images and then die cut them out with the matching dies.

Next, I trimmed down a sheet of Sand cardstock to a 4 1/8″ x 5 3/8″ and then adhered the panel onto the front of an A2 top-folding white card base. Next, I adhered all the die cuts to the card front with foam adhesive.

I then stamped and white heat-embossed a sentiment from the Grateful Pumpkin stamp set onto Pitch Black cardstock. I then trimmed the sentiment down to a strip. Lastly, I finished the card by adhering the sentiment to the card front with foam adhesive.

My next card features the fun Stacked Happy Holidays Foil & Cut set.

To create this card I first trimmed down several scraps of colored cardstock (Pesto, Palm, Mist, Paradise, Coral, Cherry & Peony) to 1/4″ strips and each 4″ long. I then adhered the strips to the front of an A2 top-folding white card base making sure the strips were all aligned on the left side of the card.

Next, I hot foil some white cardstock in Polish Brass foil with the Stacked Happy Holidays Foil Plate. I then trimmed the sentiment down to a long vertical strip.

Lastly I finished the card by adhering the sentiment to the card front with foam adhesive.

My next card features the sweet Poinsettia Arrangement stamp set.

To create this card I first stamped a poinsettia from the Poinsettia Arrangement stamp set in INTENS-ified Black Ink onto the top of a 3″ x 4 1/4″ white panel. I then created two masks for the poinsettia out of full-adhesive post-it notes. I then placed one of the masks over the stamped poinsettia and then I stamped a second poinsettia. I then placed the second mask over the second poinsettia and then stamped several leaves.

Next, I repeated this process and stamped the same arrangement on the bottom half of the panel. I then copic colored all the images. Next, I stamped the sentiment from the stamp set onto the center of the panel.

I then adhered the panel to the front of an A2 top-folding card base made from Arctic cardstock with foam adhesive.

My last card features the Color Layering Wreath Stencils, the Season Words Fancy Die and the Hero Greeting Season’s Greetings Stamp Set.

To create this card I first ink blended over the first stencil with Moss Core Ink onto a 4 1/8″ x 5 3/8″ panel of white cardstock. I then lined up stencil B and ink blended over it with Forever Green Core Ink. Next, I ink blended over stencil C with Crimson and Plum Core Inks and then finished the wreath by ink blending over stencil D with Pine.

Next, I die cut “season’s greetings” out of Coral cardstock with the Season Words Fancy Die. I then ink blended over the sentiment with Crimson ink. I then die cut the shadow layer out of vellum cardstock. Next, I adhered the red sentiment over the shadow layer. I then die cut two more “season’s greetings” out of scrap cardstock. I then adhered the sentiments together and then adhered them to the backside of the vellum to create a stacked sentiment.

Next, I stamped and white heat-embossed a sub-sentiment from the Hero Greetings Season’s Greetings stamp set onto black cardstock. I then trimmed the sentiment down to a strip. Lastly, I finished the card by adhering the panel to the front of an A2 top-folding white card base and then adhered the sentiments over the wreath.
