Waffle Flower Crafts March Release Blog Hop and Giveaway

Waffle Flower Crafts March Release Blog Hop and Giveaway

Hello crafty friends!! It’s time for a new Waffle Flower Crafts release!! I’m happy to be hopping with the folks from Waffle Flower to show you all the fun new stuff awaiting you on the Waffle Flower website! Be sure to check out each stop in today’s blog hop for fun, inspiration, and chances to win some of these new release goodies!

I have a couple of cards to share so let’s just right in.

My first card features the adorable Snail Die and Small Envelopes Die.

To create this card I first die cut white cardstock with the circle die from the Snail Die Set. I dry embossed the diecut with the spiral die and then copic colored the circle. Next, I die cut the spiral out of white cardstock and then glued it over the circle. I then die cut the body of the snail out of cream cardstock. Next, I die cut the face out of white and black cardstock.

I then copic colored the white cheek pink and then inlaid the black eye and the pink cheek into the cream body, using micropore tape holding them in place. Next, I die cut several envelopes out of white cardstock using the Small Envelopes Dies. I then die cut a white A2 panel with some of the envelops in place with the same circle die I used in the beginning. Next, I stamped a sentiment from the Snailed It Stamp Set in VersaFine Onyx Black Ink. I then placed the panel temporarily over a A2 top-folding white card base turned on its side and then glued the copic colored circle inside.

Next I added score tape around the base of a Puffy Circle Shake Cover. I then place a sequin mix over the circle and then adhered the shaker cover to the card front. I then adhered the die cut panel to the card front with liquid adhesive. Next, I adhered most of the envelopes and then finished the card by adhering the snail body and my remaining envelopes with foam adhesive.

My last card features the Daisy Background Stencil and the new shader brushes.

To create this card I started with an A2 panel of cream cardstock. I then ink blended over the panel with the Daisy Background Stencil and the new shader brushed to blend each flower a different color. I used the Shader 1 brush with Distress Oxides Mustard Seed, Worn Lipstick and Dried Marigold to color the flower petals and I used a Shader 0 brush to color the centers in Ripe Persimmon.

Once I finished blending my flowers I then adhered the panel onto an A2 top-folding white card base. I then die cut a sentiment out of white cardstock using the Oversized Hello Word Die three times. Next I adhered the three hello’s together and then adhered to the card front.

Next, I stamped and white heat-embossed a sub-sentiment from the Oversized Hello Stamp Set onto white cardstock. I then ink blended over the heat embossed sentiment with Dried Marigold Distress Oxide. Lastly, I trimmed the sentiment down to a strip and adhered to the card front with foam adhesive.
