Hero Arts March My Monthly Hero Countdown

Hero Arts March My Monthly Hero Countdown

Hello crafty friends and welcome to the first day of the Hero Arts’ My Monthly Hero Countdown!!!

Oh boy guys, I can’t wait till you all see this month’s kit! Just when I think everything has been done already, Hero Arts again surprises me with their creativity and ingenuity.

My card today gives you a good little teaser of this incredible kit.

To create this card I first stamped the splatter stamp in Fruit Punch, Lemon Drop, Pool Party and Blue Hawaii Reactive Ink to make a rainbow splatter onto a panel of Bristol Paper. After I stamped the splatter I then spritz the panel with water to activate the ink and to get it moving.

Next I die cut the frame out of mirror gold cardstock using the included fancy window die. I used partial die-cutting to create a seamless frame. Then when the splattered panel had dried I then trimmed it down to fit behind the gold frame. Next, I adhered the frame to the panel with foam adhesive.

I then die cut the fancy window die out of Dove White cardstock and then trimmed off all the images to separate the section with the girl on the bench. Next I adhered the girl to frame. I then stamped and white heat-embossed a sentiment from the included stamp set onto Pebble cardstock A2 card front. I then finished the card by adhering the frame and girl to the card front.

I hope you enjoyed my card! Be sure to check out the other projects shared today over at Hero Arts blog.

  1. Oh my goodness! I love the free flowing look of the splatter stamp & to put it in a picture frame & have a person sitting on a bench like it is in an art gallery is brilliant!! I cannot wait to see more as this looks so modern & fun. Thanks Channin!

  2. I love and appreciate your creative die cutting to increase the ways in which the dies can be used. Thank you for your inspiration and out-of-the box die cutting!

  3. Lovin’ this card! So well done!

Oooo this looks very interesting and loads of fun❣️ Looking forward to seeing the full reveal!☺️🥳

  4. I love the way limiting the colors on the border makes the splatter ‘pop’! This is a lovely card!
