Hero Arts January My Monthly Hero Countdown

Hero Arts January My Monthly Hero Countdown

Hello friends!! It’s Hero Arts countdown time!! Wahoo!! Myself and several other designers are starting off the January My Monthly Hero Kit countdown with some sweet inspiration for you all!!

Even though there is a beautiful stamp set in this kit, the card I’m sharing today showcases the included dies.

To create this card I first ink blending the front of an A2 top-folding white card base with Taffy, Thistle and Pool Party Reactive Inks. I then die cut two tree boughs using a die from the kit out of Pesto cardstock.

I then ink blended over the boughs with Moss Bold Ink to add some depth. Next I created the swing by die-cutting Sand and Chestnut cardstock. I then trimmed the seat out from the Chestnut diecut and adhered it on top of the Sand swing.

Next, I die cut an A2 panel of Dove White cardstock with the cover plate die included in the kit. I then arranged and adhered the tree boughs and swing onto the card front with liquid glue and foam adhesive. I then adhered the diecut panel to the card front doubled-up foam adhesive. Lastly, I stamped and white heat-embossed a sentiment, fussy cut it out and then adhered it to the card front with foam adhesive.

I hope you enjoyed my card! Thank you so much for stopping by!

  1. OH MY GOSH!!!! These dies look like they are going to be amazing. I love the keyhole look of this die window!!!

  2. Love the card, so pretty! I love the keyhole window die, it reminds me of Rome when our guide took us to see a view of the Vatican through a keyhole in a door.
