Pinkfresh Studio March Release and Blog Hop

Pinkfresh Studio March Release and Blog Hop

Hello friends!! Oh boy am I excited about today’s release at Pinkfresh Studio!! Of course it is gorgeous but this new line makes creating stunning cards super fast and easy!!

Beyond using washi tape for die cutting or to seal my envelops, I haven’t really played with washi tape. This release really made me realize what I was missing out on. But of course these Pinkfresh washi tapes are incredibly beautiful and were specifically designed for card making so incorporating them into your designs is so easy! So easy in fact I whipped up THREE cards with the Painted Peony washi tape, stamp set and dies in no time flat.

To create these cards I first adhered a long stretch of the Painted Peonies washi tape onto a 4 1/4″ x 11″ piece of cream cardstock.

I repeated this process once more and then die cut both strips with the Painted Peonies Die. I then adhered two A2 panels of rust cardstock onto two A2 top-folding card bases.

Next, I stamped and gold heat embossed sentiments onto the card fronts. I then adhered some of the die cut washi elements to the card fronts with foam adhesive and then trimmed off the overhang with scissors.

I finished my third card by first adhering an A2 panel of cream cardstock to the front of an A2 top-folding card base. I then die cut another cream panel with the Diagonal Stitched Plaid Die then trimmed it down to 4″ x 5 1/4″. Next, I took the smaller washi die cuts arranged them and adhered them to the panel, trimming off any overhang with scissors. Lastly I finished the card with a gold heat embossed sentiment stamped onto the rust cardstock, trimmed with scissors and a craft knife, then adhered to the card front with foam adhesive.

We will be giving away the full release on the Pinkfresh blog and YouTube channel. There will also be a total of ten $25 gift cards chosen from all the blogs on the hop list. As per usual with blog hops – the winners will be picked from the comments.

We are offering free US shipping (and $5.50 off international shipping) on all orders $50+ from March 8th to March 14th. See the graphic in the blog hop graphics folder above for code.

  1. I like using the coordinated paper as a backdrop to these gorgeous florals. Thanks for the inspiration.

  2. All of these are beautiful but I think my favorite is the third one. This washi tape and die combination makes it look like you took hours to color images. Brilliant!

  3. Beautiful examples of using this amazing new release. Love the goldish cardstock with the images.

  4. I don’t often see cards using such bright base card color. Picking up the bright yellow out of the washi colors was truly inspired. I’ll have to try this style more often. Thank you for sharing.

  5. That pumpkin cardstock really makes those washi die cuts pop here! Love that color contrast. And love these beautiful new washi tapes with the matching dies!

  6. So pretty! I love the yellow backgrounds with the beautiful floral die cuts! Such a feast for the eyes and heart.

  7. Oh my, these kits are gorgeous and I already added all 5 washi to the cart 🙂 Thank you for sharing your inspiration!

  8. That rust cardstock goes perfectly with the washi tape. My favourite colour combo from all the cards I have seen from this release! And those beautiful scripted fonts in gold go so well. What lovely encouraging card set!

  9. Lovely cards, Channin! I love the soft colored florals against your yellow cardstock. They stand out so nicely! I like how you overlapped your wreaths. That would be a great design for an anniversary card. Your floral covered card with the ivory card base looks gorgeous!! Thank you for sharing!

  10. These are all three so pretty, but I can’t stop staring at the “Create Change” card. The beautiful florals are simply stunning on the cream card, and the Diagonal Stitched Plaid die is such a lovely touch to the background.

  11. Beautiful cards. I wouldn’t have thought to mount the washi tape on cream cardstock but love the look and will definitely be giving it a try. Thanks for sharing and inspiring!
