Hello crafty friends!! Today I’m joining Tonic Studios in celebrating their latest stamp club stamp and die set, Compassion & Poppies!

This is a beautiful floral set with and the accompanying die set includes not only matching dies but also several panel dies and greenery dies that really add to the versatility of this set!!
I have two cards to share featuring this beautiful set!
To create these cards I first stamped several poppies from the stamp set in VersaFine Onyx Black Ink onto Bristol paper. Once I had all my florals stamped, I then watercolored them with Tombow Dual Brush Pens (flowers: 856 & 837; leaves: 379). When I had finished watercoloring the florals I then die cut them out with the matching dies.
Next, I die cut an A2 panel of mustard cardstock with the largest panel die included in the set. I then die cut the panel two more times out of scrap cardstock and adhered them to the backside of the mustard panel for dimension, and then adhered the panel onto an A2 top-folding white card base. Next, I die cut two more layers out of scrap cardstock for the poppies with the stems and leaves, adhered the layers to the backside and then adhered them to the card front.
I then stamped the solid leaves from the stamp set several times in teal inks and then die cut them out with the matching dies. Next, I used the frame of mustard cardstock left over from before and arranged all my leaves and remaining poppies inside the frame. I then picked up the frame and the die cuts with a piece of press-n-seal, flipped it over, added foam tape to the backside and then added it to the front of an A2 top-folding card base made from mustard cardstock. Next, I stamped and white heat embossed two sentiments onto black cardstock and then trimmed them down to a strip. Lastly, I finished the cards by adhering the sentiments to the card fronts by stacking and adhering two strips of cardstock to the backside for dimension.
