Reverse Confetti + Hero Arts Partner Set Release and Blog Hop

Hello friends!! Reverse Confetti and Hero Arts have partnered up to bring you a gorgeous new floral builder stamp set and matching die!!

Born with creativity in her blood, Ellie, daughter of Reverse Confetti owner, Jen del Muro, designed this uplifting and versatile multi-step floral set for the Hero Arts Partner collaboration. Both have a passion for equality and equity, and proceeds from this stamp set will be donated to the Human Rights Campaign. We hope that this stamp set will inspire you to create beautiful cards for those that you care for and love.

To create my card I first stamped the three flowers in several Hero Arts inks. I first stamped the base for the body of the flower and then I stamped the detail layer. I always used two shades, a light and a dark ink, for the detail layer, after I stamped the pattern in the light I would then partially ink the bottom of the stamp with the darker shade to create a slight shadow.

Red/Pink Flower:

  • Body: Base-Taffy; Detail- Crimson + Raspberry Jam
  • Scalloped Top: Creamsicle
  • Stamen: Lemon Drop + Creamsicle

Blue Flower:

  • Body: Base- Cornflower; Detail- Blue Hawaii + Indigo
  • Scalloped Top: Pool Party
  • Stamen: Pool Party + Blue Hawaii

Yellow Flower:

  • Body: Base- Lemon Drop; Detail- Soft Apricot + Pumpkin Pie
  • Scalloped Top: Soft Apricot
  • Stamen: Lemon Drop + Soft Apricot

When I finished stamping the flowers I then die cut them out with the matching dies and then adhered the pieces together. Next, I stamped the leaves. I first stamped the base layer in Key Lime Fizz, then Blue Raspberry for the second layer, and Pine for the last layer. After I had stamped three sets of leaves I then die cut them out with the matching dies.

I then stamped the front of an A2 top-folding white card base with three stems in first in Key Lime Fizz and then in Blue Raspberry so they would match the leaves. I then adhered the flowers and the leaves to the card front with foam adhesive. Lastly, I finished the card by stamping my sentiment in INTENS-ified Black Ink.

We are giving away $50 gift cards to TWO lucky winners, drawn from comments left across the blog hop. One gift code will be to the Hero Arts store, and the other to Reverse Confetti.
