Waffle Flower Crafts December Release and Blog Hop

Waffle Flower Crafts December Release and Blog Hop

Hello friends!! Over at Waffle Flower Crafts we are celebrating the new December release with a fun blog hop and giveaway!!

I have several cards to share so let’s dive right on in!! I’ll start off with a card featuring the new Infinite Triangles Stencil, Bold Alpha Die, and New Beginning Stamp Set.

To create this card I first created the rainbow triangle row by ink blending with several Distress Ink (Picked Raspberry, Barn Door, Spiced Marmalade, Mustard Seed, Mowed Lawn & Peacock Feathers) over the Infinite Triangles Stencil and sliding the stencil down a little between each color onto a 4 1/8″ x 5 3/8″ panel of white cardstock.

I then adhered the panel onto the front on an A2 top-folding black card base. Next, I die cut a black cardstock square made with the Nesting Squares Die Set with the numbers from the Bold Alpha Die Set. I then stamped and gold heat embossed a sentiment from the New Beginning Stamp Set. I then finished the card by adhering the sentiment to the card front with foam adhesive.

My next card features the beautiful new Slimline Angled Panel Die, the Sentiment Additions Stamp Set and the Bold Alpha Die Set.

To create this card I first ink blended the front of a white slimline card base with Worn Lipstick, Squeezed Lemonade, Cracked Pistachio, Salty Ocean, and Shaded Lilac Distress Oxides. Once I finished ink blended I then added water spots and then set the card aside to dry. Next, I die cut a white slimline panel with Slimline Angled Panel Die and then adhered a panel of acetate behind it. Next, I added foam adhesive to the card front to create a well, then filled the well with sequins, and topped it off with the angled panel.

I then die cut “CELEBRATE” twice with the Bold Alpha Die Set out of white cardstock and adhered the letters together. Next, I stamped and white heat embossed a sentiment from the Sentiment Additions Stamp Set onto gray cardstock and then die cut out with the matching die. Lastly, I finished the card by adhering the sentiments to my card front.

My next card is also a slimline card and features the beautiful Tender Blooms Stamp Set and the Slimline Stripes Die.

For this card I first stamped the main floral image from the Tender Blooms Stamp Set a couple of times in black onto a white slimline panel. I then die cut the panel with the Slimline Stripes Die and then ink blended the different sections with distress inks (Twisted Citron, Squeezed Lemonade, Wild Honey, Spiced Marmalade, Festive Berries, Picked Raspberries, and Wilted Violet).

I then colored the flowers tone-on-tone with copics to added shape to the flowers and used grays to add shadows and make everything pop away from the background. I then adhered the stripes to the front of a slimline card base and then stamped a sentiment and die cut it out with the matching dies. I then finished the card by adhering the sentiment to the card front.

My last card features the New Beginning Stencil & Stamp Combo and the Tender Thoughts Stamp Set.

To create this card I first taped off the bottom portion of a 4 1/8″ x 5 3/8″ panel of white cardstock and then ink blended Squeezed Lemonade Distress Oxide and a little bit of Mustard Seed. Next, I placed the sunset stencil and sun stencil over the panel and then ink blended with Mustard Seed, Worn Lipstick and Dusty Concord. I then removed the tape, masked off the sky and then ink blended the ocean with a little Squeezed Lemonade and a little Peacock Feathers.

I then placed the water reflection stencil down and ink blended with more Peacock Feathers and Blueprint Sketch. Next, I added some texture to with ocean with a damp chamois and then removed the tape. I then adhered the panel to the front of an A2 top-folding card base and then finished the card by stamping the birds and a sentiment from the Tender Thoughts Stamp Set in black.

I hope you enjoyed my cards!! Be sure to check out the rest of the hop so you don’t miss any of the awesome inspiration!!
