Pinkfresh Studio’s November Essentials Die Release

Pinkfresh Studio’s November Essentials Die Release

Hello friends!! Today we are celebrating a new Essentials Die Release over at Pinkfresh Studios!! Whoop whoop!!

I have a couple of slimline Christmas cards to share featuring some of the new dies!!

To create my first card, I first die cut seven strips using the new Slim Strips Dies. I then colored the strips with several Pinkfresh inks (Bubble Gum, Passion Fruit, Apricot, Sweet Mustard, Mint, Grassy Knoll, & Aquamarine).

I then adhered the strips to the front of a slimline Kraft card base (7 1/4″ x 8 5/8″; scored at 3 5/8″). Next, I die cut a scallop frame using the new Slim Stitched Scallop Rectangles die set. I then adhered the frame to the card front with foam adhesive. Next, I die cut “Christmas” out of white cardstock out using the Kelly Alpha Lowercase and Uppercase Dies and I then adhered the letters to the card front with foam adhesive.

I then stamped and white heat embossed some additional sentiments from the Merry Days Stamp Set onto gray cardstock. I then trimmed the sentiments down and then finished the card by adhering them to the card front.

For my last card I first die cut white and coral cardstock with the new Slim Stitched Scallop Rectangles Dies. I then took the remaining frame left over from die cutting the frames out of white cardstock and ink blended it with Mint ink. I then adhered the layers onto the front of a light pink slimline card base (7 1/4″ x 8 5/8″; scored at 3 5/8″).

Next, I stamped three floral clusters from the Merry and Bright Frame Stamp Set in Detail Black, Ballet Slipper, Mint, Meadow, and Passion Fruit. Next, I die cut the florals out with the matching dies and then added clear glitter. I then die cut an oval frame using the Merry and Bright Frame Coordinating Die set out of coral cardstock and then stamped it with the coordinating stamp in Candy Apple ink.

Next, I stamped my sentiment in Mint and Meadow ink, die cut it out with the matching die, and then added glitter. I then adhered the frame, florals and sentiment to the card front. Lastly, I created a bow out of red cardstock using the Artistic Bows Die set and adhered to the card front.

I hope you enjoyed my cards! Please be sure to check out all the other stops along the hop!
