Pinkfresh Studio’s October Slimline Release

Pinkfresh Studio’s October Slimline Release

Hello friends!! Today we are celebrating Pinkfresh Studio’s newest slimline release!! I won’t lie, I have definitely been bitten by the slimline bug!! It’s like a new canvas for us cardmakers to play with!! And Pinkfresh Studio just added to the fun with a bunch new slimline STENCILS, STAMPS, and DIES!!

I have a colorful card to share featuring the new Gradiating Stripes Stencil!

To create this card I first taped the Gradiating Stripes Stencil over the front of a white slimline card base (7 1/4″ x 8 5/8″; scored at 3 5/8″). I then ink blended over the stencil with a rainbow of Pinkfresh inks (Sparkling Rose, Passion Fruit, Apricot, Lemon Whip, Key Lime, Meadow, Mermaid Cove, Summer Shower, Seaside, Blue Jay, & Lavender). I did mask off the stripes above and below the stripes I was ink blending to ink blend them different colors.

Once I finished ink blending all the stripes, I then cleaned the stencil, repositioned it over the card front but this time off-set so I could now ink blend over most of the remaining white areas. With the stencil in place I then ink blended with the same rainbow of inks. Once I finished ink blending, I then repositioned the stencil for a third time to ink blend any remaining white areas. When I had the entire card front ink blended I then stamped it with the new Be Courageous Stamp Set in Detail Black ink. I then stamped a sentiment from the set on the front in Detail Black as well.

Next, I die cut three “friend’s” out of black cardstock using the Phrase Builder – Hello Die Set. I then adhered the “friend’s” together to create a dimensional sentiment and then adhered it to the front of my card. I then finished my card by adding black enamel accents.
