Hero Arts October My Monthly Hero Release

Hello friends!! Today we are celebrating Hero Arts October My Monthly Hero Kit Release!! To celebrate Hero Arts is hosting a fun inspirational blog hop and GIVEAWAY!!

This month’s kit is so versatile!! On Saturday I shared two festive rainbow cards that I created with the kit and today I’ve got a sparkly shaker!!

To create this card I first die cut the trees and reindeer out of white cardstock and then ink blended them. I used Pumpkin Pie for the reindeer and Pine for the trees. Once I finished ink blending I then added details to the reindeer with a white gel pen and black marker. I then colored the stars on the trees with copics and then added snow with a snow marker.

Next I die cut an A2 panel of glittery cardstock and a panel of white craft foam with the ornament die. I then adhered the glittery panel onto an A2 panel of acetate. Next, I ink blended a A2 panel of mist cardstock with Pool Party Reactive Ink. I then fussy cut a 4 1/4″ x 2″ scrap of white cardstock to create a slope and then adhered it onto the mist panel. Next, I stamped and gold heat embossed a sentiment from the stamp set and then adhered the trees and reindeer to the panel.

I then adhered the panel onto the front of an A2 top-folding white card base. I then adhered the craft foam panel onto the card front and then filled the ornament well with glitter. Next I adhered the glitter and acetate panel to the card front. I then die cut a top for the ornament out of mirrored gold cardstock using the ornament die, then trimmed off the excess and adhered to the card front. I then finished the card by adhering a gold bow to the top of the ornament.
