Pinkfresh Studio’s September Release & Blog Hop

Pinkfresh Studio’s September Release & Blog Hop

Hello friends!! It’s time for Pinkfresh Studio’s September release and blog hop!! This release is all holiday themed and is perfect for getting a jump start on you Christmas cards!!

My first card features the festive Tree Trimming Friends Stamp set and matching die.

To create this card I first stamped base layer for the tree in Aquamarine and the partially inked up the bottom of the tree in Mermaid Cove and stamped it once more. I then positioned the detail layer for the tree and stamped it in Tidal Pond.

I then stamped the critters and the lights from the set in Detail Black ink. I then colored the images in with copics and die cut them out with matching dies. To make the candy red and white, I colored the black stripes in with a white with a gel pen.

Next, I stamped the presents, one in Berrylicious and the other in Bubble Gum. I then die cut them out with the matching dies and added some shading with copics. Next, I stamped a sentiment onto the front of an A2 top-folding Kraft card base in Detail Black and then finished the card by adhering all the images with foam adhesive.

My next card features the sweet Our Home to Yours Stamp Set and matching die.

To create this card I first stamped the house in several Pinkfresh inks (Sparkling Rose + Bubble Gum, Passion Fruit + Berrylicious, Apricot + Clementine, Lemon Whip + Sweet Mustard, Aquamarine + Mermaid Cove, Summer Shower + Seaside). I did use two inks and partial inking for each house to add a little gradation.

After I stamped the houses I then die cut them out and unstamped counterparts out of white cardstock and adhered the two together to add dimension. Next, I stamped the tree several times onto an A2 panel of white cardstock in Mermaid Cove and Tidal Pond. I then stamped the fence a few times in Doe. I then cut the panel to create the look of slopes and then ink blended the topped of the slopes in Sky Blue.

Next, I ink blended the top of a Kraft top-folding card base with Doe and then splattered it with white paint. When it was dry I then adhered the slopes to the card front and then adhered the houses on top. Next, stamped and white heat embossed a sentiment from the set on Kraft cardstock. I then die cut it out with the matching die. I then finished the card by adhering the sentiment with foam adhesive.

That’s it!! I hope you enjoyed my cards!!
