Waffle Flower Crafts September Release and Blog Hop

Hello friends!! It’s time for another Waffle Flower Crafts release!! This is such a wonderful release, there are a bunch of adorable new critter sets and several super handy dies!

My first I created features the Learning From Home Stamp Set and the Monitor Die!

To create this card I first die cut the monitor using the Monitor Die Set out of pool and white cardstock and then adhered the two together. I then die cut the divided screen from the Monitor Die set out of Bristol paper and white cardstock. Next, I stamped some images from the Learning from Home Stamp Set in Versafine Onyx Black onto the negatives of the Bristol paper screen. Next, I watercolored the images in with Tombow Dual Brush Pens. I then adhered the white cardstock frame onto the Bristol one and then inlaid the negatives and the screen into the monitor and held everything in place with tape.

Next, I stamped a pen and pencil from the Frontline Heroes 1 Stamp Set onto Bristol paper and then watercolored the images in with Tombow Dual Brush Pens. I then used the divided screen to die cut a sheet of striped paper from the Half Half Unicorn Lines Paper Pad to create sheets of paper. Next, I created a table top by trimming a sheet of paper from the Half Half Unicorn Dots Paper Pad.

I then trimmed a sheet of pattern paper from the JJ’s Rainbows Paper Pad down to an A2 panel (4 1/4″ x 5 1/2″) and then adhered to the front of an A2 top-folding card base. Next, I adhered the table, papers, monitor, pen and pencil to the card front. I then finished the card by stamping a sentiment from the Back to School Stamp Set in Versafine Onyx Black.

My next card features the sweet Frontline Helpers Combo and the House Outline Die.

To create this card I first stamped several images from the Frontline Helpers Stamp Set in Versafine Onyx Black onto Bristol paper. I then stamp several of the images (fabric spools, clothes, & masks) again onto pattern paper from the Half Half Unicorn Dots and the Half Half Enchanted Lines Paper Pads.

Next, I watercolored the images on the Bristol paper in with Tombow Dual Brush Pens. I then fussy cut the parts of the images out from the pattern paper and then adhered them onto the Bristol paper images. I then die cut an A2 panel trimmed from a sheet from the JJ’s Rainbows Paper Pad with the house die from the House Outline Die.

I then used the panel as a guide to position the door and window die to die cut an A2 panel of Kraft cardstock. I then adhered the panel and door and window onto an A2 top-folding Kraft card base and then stamped a sentiment in Versafine Onyx Black. Next, I adhered rainbow panel to the card front with foam tape. I then finished the card by adhering the remaining images.

My next pair of cards features the adorable Home Sweet Home Combo Set.

These fun cards also feature a super easy interactive element made with a simple brad!

To create this cards I first arranged several images from the Home Sweet Home Stamp Set into my MISTI and then stamped them onto either an A2 panel of Bristol Paper or an A2 top-fold Kraft card base in either Versafine Onyx Black Ink or Doe Pinkfresh Studio Ink.

I repeated this process till I had the hold card front/panel covered with images. Next, I stamped a few more images from the Home Sweet Home Stamp Set onto Bristol paper and then watercolored all the images that were stamped on Bristol paper in with Tombow Dual Brush Pens.

I then modified the images to allow for the interactive element and once I had made the changes, I then punched a small hole into both the elements and then fed a brad through. I then finished the Kraft card by adhering the large squirrel and acorn image to the card front.

I then stamped and clear embossed a sentiment from the Safe at Home Stamp Set onto a panel of vellum. I then adhered my remaining images to the panel with foam tape and then finished the card by adhering the vellum to the panel and then adhering the panel to an A2 top-folding card base.

My last card features the gorgeous Fall Leaves Die Set.

To create this card I first ink smooshed several inks onto a long sheet of watercolor paper. I then die cut the leaves (outline & base) out of the ink smooshed paper.

Next I adhered the outlines to their bases and then stamped and gold heat embossed a sentiment from the Label Greetings Stamp Set onto white cardstock and then die cut out with matching die.

Next, I trimmed a sheet of cream cardstock down to 8 1/4″ x 3 3/8″ and then splatter the panel with gold paint. When the panel was dry, I then adhered it to the front of a slimline card base (7 1/4″ x 8 1/2″, scored at 3 5/8″) and then finished the card by adhering leaves and sentiment.
