I fell in love with the Heather Alpha Stamps and Dies and created three cards to share with you today!!

Heather Alpha Dies_Channin

The first card I created was the simple rainbow Hey You card. To create this card I first die cut the letters I needed out of white cardstock and white craft foam using the Heather Uppercase Dies Alpha.

I then removed the outline on the cardstock letters and then ink blended the remaining portions of the cardstock letters in several Pinkfresh inks (Passion Fruit, Clementine, Lemon Whip, Aquamarine, Summer Shower, Seaside).

Next, I put the outlines back around the letters and then adhered them to their craft foam counterparts. I then finished the card by adhering the letters onto a 4″ x 5 1/4″ panel of black cardstock and then adhered the panel onto a A2 black card base.

For my next card I first stamped “hooray” with the Heather Uppercase Stamps in the same rainbow of Pinkfresh inks onto a 4″ x 5 1/4″ panel of white cardstock. I then die cut the same letters with the Heather Uppercase Alpha Dies out of white cardstock and then adhered the outlines onto the panel off-set from the letters.

Next, I stamped and white heat embossed a sentiment from the new Every Good Thing Stamp Set onto black cardstock. I then trimmed the sentiment down to a strip and adhered to the panel. I then finished the card by adhering the panel onto an A2 white card base.

For my last card I first created the background by stamping a panel with the new Color Block Stripes Horizontal Pop-out Stamp in the same Pinkfresh inks. Once, I had stamped the panel I then then taped off the different colored sections with painters tape and then ink blended those sections with the same ink I used to stamp it. I then trimmed the panel down to 4″ x 5 1/4″ and set aside.

Next, I die cut “thanks” with the Heather Lowercase Alpha Dies out of white cardstock. I then the letter outlines to the panel and then the remaining portions on top but off-set. Next, I stamped and white embossed a sentiment from the new Charming Floral Wreath Stamp Set onto black cardstock. I then trimmed the sentiment down to a strip and adhered it to the panel. I then finished the card by adhering the panel to an A2 card front.
