Heffy Doodle and Inkon3 Blog Hop

Hello friends!! Today I’m joining the Heffy Doodle and Inkon3 collaborative blog hop and GIVEAWAY!!

I combined the incredible Atelier Inks from Inkon3 with the Otter Side Stamp Set to create a bold and vibrate watercolored card.

To create this card, I first watered colored an A2 panel of watercolor paper with Atelier Inks (Peacock Blue and Marilyn Red). I used a wet-on-wet technique. I first covered the panel with water and then dropped in the slightly watered-down inks. I also mixed a little of the blue and red inks together to create some purples and indigos as well. Once I finished painting the panel I then allowed it to dry.

Next, I stamped the otters front the Otter Side Stamp Set in Fadeout Ink onto watercolor paper. I then watercolored the image in with the Atelier Inks. Once I finished coloring the image, I then die cut it out with the matching dies. Next, I stamped and white heat-embossed a sentiment on black cardstock and then trimmed it down to a strip. I then adhered the sentiment to the otters.

Next, I trimmed the watercolor panel down to 4 1/8″ x 5 3/8″ and then die cut it with a heart from the Stitched Hearts Die Set. I then adhered the panel onto an A2 top-fold black card base. I then finished the card by adhering the heart, image, and sentiment with foam squares.

Heffy Doodle will be giving away a 25£ CG and InkOn3 a 25$ CG to their respective stores.

Winners will be chosen randomly and announced on Sunday, June 7th on the Heffy Doodle and InkOn3 blogs.
