Hello all!! Today I’m joining in on a fun collaborative blog hop and GIVEAWAY between Picket Fence Studios and My Sweet Petunia!!

I love working with Picket Fence Studio’s products, their designs are so unique and beautiful! For today’s card I chose to use the gorgeous Peony Bouquet Stamp Set for my focal point and the fun Points of Interest Stencil for the background!

To create this card I first stamped several images from the Peony Bouquest Stamp Set on Bristol paper in Fadeout Ink. Next I watercolored the images in with Tombow Dual Brush Pens.

Petals: 685 + 847

Flower Centers: 985 + 925

Leaves/Stems: 126 + 379

Once I had finished coloring the images I then fussy cut them out and set them aside.

Next, I created the background with the Points of Interest Stencil. I first added Pixie Spray to the back of the stencil and then stuck it down onto an A2 panel of white cardstock. I then ink blended over the stencil with several Distress Oxides (Wild Honey, Spiced Marmalade, Rusty Hinge, Picked Raspberry). When I had finished ink blending I then removed the stencil and then blended over the panel once more with the same inks, only with a lighter touch.

Next, I die cut the panel with a rectangle die and creating a frame and a now smaller panel. I then stamped a sentiment from the Small Ways to Say Thanks Stamp Set in Versafine Onyx Black onto the panel. Next, I die cut 4 more panels with the rectangle die from scrapped panels of white cardstock and then adhered them together with my ink blended panel of top for dimension. I then adhered the frame and dimensional panel onto an A2 top-folding card base. Lastly, I finished my card by adhering the flowers and leaves with foam squares and adding a few clear iridescent sequins from the Gin & Tonic Sequin Mix.

And that’s it! I hope you enjoyed my card!

Be sure to check out the rest of the hop to see all the incredible inspiration and don’t forget to leave a comment along the way for your chance to win either a $50 gift certificate to Picket Fence Studios or $50 gift certificate to My Sweet Petunia!!
