Pinkfresh Studio February Release Blog Hop

Hello friends!! Today I’m here celebrating the Pinkfresh Studio’s February Release and joining their blog hop and GIVEAWAY!!

This month Pinkfresh is releasing several new background stamps!! I love background stamps!! They are so helpful for creating quick and simple backgrounds and they are wonderful to use with a variety of techniques.

My first card I’m sharing with you today features the new Floral Diamond background stamp.

For this card I first stamped the leaf garland from the Leaf Decor Stamp Set in Warm Buff ink on bristol paper. I then watercolored the leaves in with Tombow Dual Brush Pens (528, 312, 158, 126, 993). Once I finished coloring the image I then die cut it out with the matching die.

Next, I stamped the background in Fresh Pear using the Floral Diamond stamp on a panel of light green cardstock. I then adhered the panel onto an A2 top-folding card base.

Next, I trimmed a strip of white cardstock to fit behind the leaves and then adhered the strip and the leaves to the panel.

I then stamped a sentiment from the Leaf Decor Stamp Set  in Seaside ink onto a strip of blue cardstock and then adhered it to the card front using foam tape.

Next up is a card featuring the Floral Shadow background stamp.

For this card I first ink blended a very light background with a rainbow of Pinkfresh inks (Passion Fruit, Apricot, Lemon Whip, Meadow & Summer Showers) on an A2 panel of white cardstock. I then stamped the Floral Shadow stamp over the panel in the same set of rainbow colors with my MISTI but using partial inking to ink up specific sections of the stamp in a specific color.

Once stamped I then trimmed 1/8″ from the top and one of the sides of my panel and then adhered it to the front of an A2 top-fold white card base. Next, I die cut three frames uses the Foliage Frame Inset Die out of white cardstock and then adhered them together.

I then stamped a sentiment from the Layered Bouquet Stamp Set in Versafine on the card front and the finished the card by adhering the frame with liquid glue.

And that’s it! I hope you enjoyed my cards! Please be sure to check out the rest of the hop and the giveaway below and thank you so much for stopping by!
