The Stamp Market 3rd Birthday Release!

The Stamp Market 3rd Birthday Release!

Hello friends!! Today I have the great pleasure of participating in The Stamp Market’s 3rd Birthday Release and Blog Hop!!

Celebrate with us as we hop along with all the  designers for inspiration using the new February Release! Also don’t forget to comment along the way to earn a chance to win 1 of 3 $50 Gift Cards to The Stamp Market Shop!

For my first card I used the Fabulous Florals Stamp Set and matching dies. I decided to do some no-line watercoloring with this stunning set.

First, I stamped several flowers and leaves from the set in Antique Linen distress ink on Bristol paper. I then watercolored the images in with my Tombow Dual Brush Pens.

  • Flowers: Petals 743 + 925
  • Green Leaves: 126 + 158
  • Blue Leaves: 451 + 312

Once all my images were colored I then die cut them out with the matching dies. Next, I die cut a 4″ x 5.25″ panel with the Pierced Plaid Cover Plate. I then adhered the panel onto an A2 panel of light gray cardstock and then adhered the two onto an A2 top-fold white card base.

Next, I die cut the Scripty Hi die twice, once out of white cardstock and second out of light gray. I then adhered the two together but slightly off-set. I then adhered the flowers and leaves to the card front with foam tape. Lastly I adhered the “hi” with liquid glue.

My next card features the beautiful Someone Special Stamp Set!

First I stamped the background stamp in Olive ink onto white cardstock. I then copic colored the image.

  • Leaves: G20 + G43
  • Pink Flowers: Petal R20 + R22 Center R05
  • Yellow Flowers: Y00 + Y15
  • Orange Flowers: YR00 + YR02
  • Blue Flowers: BG10 + BG43
  • Shadow: GY61

After I colored the images, I then trimmed the panel down 4″ x 5.25″ and then die cut the center out with the matching die. Next, I stamped and gold heat embossed the sentiment onto a panel (4″ x 5.25″) of light green cardstock.

I then finished the card by adhering the green panel onto an A2 top-folding card base and then adhered the colored panel with foam tape.

For my last card I used the gorgeous Fabulous Floral Layering Die set.

I first die cut all the dies from the die set twice out of white cardstock. I then ink blended the die cuts out with several ink to create soft gradations. Next, I partially adhered the detail layers to their bases so the ends fo the diecuts would lift away from the base.

This just adds some nice subtle dimension. Then created my sentiment, by stamping “thanks” from the Fabulous Florals Stamp Set in a gray ink and then die cut with matching die.

Next, I splatter a little bit of white paint over an A2 panel of light blue cardstock. Once the paint was dry I then adhered the panel onto an A2 top-folding white card base. I then adhered the flowers and leaves and then finished by adhering the sentiment with foam tape.

I hope you enjoyed my cards! Thank you so much for stopping by!
