Hello friends!! Today Reverse Confetti has a special release of a gorgeous new stamp and die set and to celebrate Reverse Confetti is having a blog hop!!!
Today Reverse Confetti is releasing this gorgeous new Snowflakes Stamp Set and matching die!!
See details about these products on the Reverse Confetti blog and respective product pages.
I tried something maybe a little untraditional and paired these beautiful snowflakes with a colorful background.
First, I created the background by spraying a rainbow of Distress Oxide Sprays (Picked Raspberry, Spiced Marmalade, Fossilized Amber, Cracked Pistachio, Mermaid Lagoon) over an A2 panel of 110lb white cardstock. I first sprayed the Distress Oxide Sprays directly to the panel and then when the panel had dried I removed the lid and splattered oxide from the nozzle onto the panel. Next, I splattered some white and pearl Gansai Tambi watercolor over the panel and set the panel aside to dry.
When the panel was dry I then stamped and white heat embossed several snowflakes from the Snowflakes Stamp Set. Then using my MISTI I curved a sentiment from the set, then stamped it and heat embossed it in opaque iridescent embossing powder. I then move my panel slightly to off-set the sentiment and stamped it again in gray ink to create a shadow. I then trimmed the panel about 1/4″ and adhered it to a white card base with foam tape. I then finished the card by adhering several gems to the snowflakes.
I hope you enjoyed my card!! thanks for stopping by!
