Birdie Buddies Winter Card

Hello crafty friends!! I’m so excited to share a card inspired by the current Stock Your Stash Challenge over at Reverse Confetti!!

The theme this month is Holiday/Winter and I decided to create a wintery yet cozy card with the Birdie Buddies Stamp Set!!

First, I stamped several images from the Birdie Buddies Stamp Set, copic colored them, and then die cut them out with the Birdie Buddies Confetti Dies. Next, I fussy cut a snow slope out of white cardstock and then ink blended the top with Tumbled Glass distress Ink. I then ink blended the lower portion of an A2 panel of Kraft cardstock with Vintage Photo and Ground Espresso distress ink. Next, I splattered Gansai Tambi white over the panel to create the look of falling snow.

I then die cut the Warm Hugs die 3 times out of white cardstock, trimmed off “hugs” on all three, and then adhered all three warm’s together. Next, I cut off the word “warm” from a sentiment stamp from the Birdie Buddies Stamp Set and then stamped the remaining portion of the sentiment onto the Kraft panel in Versamark Ink and then heat embossed it in white. I then adhered the Kraft panel onto an A2 card base with foam tape. I then finished my card by adhering my images and the dimensional “warm” onto the card front.
