First up is the adorable Skiing By Stamp Set and matching die!!
Hidden Slider with Skiing By Stamp Set
Watch below or on my YouTube channel.
First I constructed my mountain and ski slope layers using two A2 panels and the Skiing By Matching Dies. I also created the channel for my slider with the slope die on the mountain panel. I then created a contact paper mask and then ink blended with Pinkfresh’s new dye inks (coming in October) in colors Seaside and Ocean Breeze on the panels. I also ink blended a sky with Ocean Breeze on an A2 top-folding card base.
Next, I stamped, copic colored, and die cut images from the Skiing By Stamp Set. I then stamped my sentiment on my foreground slope in Memento Tuxedo black. I then assembled my slider, by adding foam squares to the backside of my mountain panel pieces and adhering the pieces to my card base. However, I made sure to pop my penny into the channel before I adhered down the second mountain panel piece.
Once the first part of my slider was complete, I then trimmed down a foam square to make a strip and stick the strip down on the center of the penny. I then removed the backing and stuck a small strip of acetate to it and then adhered my skiing critter to the acetate with a tiny foam square. I then covered my slider channel with my foreground slope using more foam squares to adhere it down. I then finished my card by adhering all the remaining diecuts with liquid glue.
Next is the Season’s Greetings Stamp Set and Matching Die!
For this card I first stamped the images on Bristol paper in Antique Linen Distress Ink. I then watercolored the images in with Tombow Dual Brush Pens (Leaves: 346, 158, 126; Berries: 755; Ribbon: 991).
I then stamped my sentiment in the center with Versafine Onyx Black Ink. I then trimmed my panel down 1/8″ on all the sides and adhered it to the front of an A2 top folding card base. I then finished the card by diecutting the bow out with the matching dies and adhering it to the front of the card with foam tape.
Next up is the super sweet Cozy Christmas Wishes!!
First I stamped the Cozy Christmas Wish stamp onto an A2 panel of red cardstock singly MISTI in Pinkfresh Studio’s Berrylicious Ink. I then colored the image in with Prismacolor Colored Pencils (Greens: PC1005, PC911, PC908; Reds: PC924, PC937; Blues: PC904, PC902; White: PC938).
Once I had finished coloring I then created a quick mask by stamping the Cozy Christmas Wishes stamp onto a piece of copy paper and then cutting out the center sentiment. I then place my panel back into my MISTI, placed my mask over my panel, and then stamped the Cozy Christmas Wishes stamp again but this time in Versamark Ink. I then poured on gold embossing powder and heat embossed my sentiment.
I then trimmed my panel down 1/8″ on all the sides and ink blended Berrylicious over the edges. Lastly, I adhered my panel down onto an A2 top-folding card base made from 110lb white cardstock.
Next up is the Merry Days Stamp Set with matching die!!
First I created a jig using some scrap 110lb cardstock and the Merry Days Stamp Set. I then placed the jig in my MISTI, aligned the stamp with the jig, and then loaded the tree’s inner diecuts into the negative spaces in the jig. I then stamped the diecuts in various Pinkfresh inks (Ocean Breeze, Candy Apple, Sunshine, Gathered Twigs, & Tidal Pond). Once I had all my diecuts stamped I copic colored them (E35, BG000, R27, Y15, & YG67).
Next, I diecut the tree again but this time out of dark green cardstock and craft foam. I then adhered the two together and then inlaid the stamped and colored diecuts. Next, I stamped and red heat embossed a sentiment from the Merry Days Stamp Set onto a strip of dark red cardstock. I then added trimmed and folded the ends to fit across the tree. I finished the card by adhering an A2 panel of light blue cardstock to an A2 top-folding card base, then adhering the tree, and lastly the sentiment.
And last but not least is the Sparkle with Magic Stamp Set!
First I ink blended Pinkfresh’s Summer Shower, Blue Jay, and Stargazer onto an A2 panel of white cardstock. Next, thoroughly dried my panel and then stamped and silver heat embossed the stamps from Sparkle with Magic Stamp Set. To make this process super easy, I used my MISTI and the pattern stamping technique. This allowed me to simply rotate my panel to stamp either half once I had positioned the stamps therefore minimizing the amount of times I had to reposition the stamps!
Once I had finished stamping and heat embossing my design I then diecut the panel with a rectangle die. Then I adhered the inner rectangle onto craft foam. Next, I finished the card by adhering the inner rectangle and the outer rectangle to an A2 top-folding card base, however before I adhered it, I rotated it 180 degrees to create extra contrast.
