Honey Bee Stamps August Release

Honey Bee Stamps August Release

Hello friends!! Welcome!! I’m so excited to be apart of Honey Bee Stamps’ August Release Blog Hop!!

This is such a gorgeous release and I have some fun cards and a video to share to let’s just jump right in!!

First up is the gorgeous House Builder Die!

House Builder Easel Card

Watch below or on my YouTube channel.

I first die cut most of the elements of the house out of white cardstock. However, I did use either dark gray cardstock or pattern paper for the curtains, steps, planter boxes, and top of the door.

Next, I added score lines to the house and the eaves. I then ink blended over the many of diecuts with a variety of inks to add color and depth.

Next, I adhered all the diecuts together to construct the house. I then ink blended Tumbled Glass and Peeled Paint Distress Oxide over the front of a A2 side-folding card base. I then score the front of the card at 2 1/8 to create the easel fold.

Next, I ink blending Peeled Paint Distress Oxide and Distress Ink over a 3 1/4″ x 5 1/2″ panel.

I then stamped a sentiment from the Journey and Wild and Free Stamp Sets in Barn Door Distress Oxide onto the panel.

Next, I assembled the card by adhering the house to the lower half of the card front, then adhering the panel to the inside of the card, and lastly, adhering some stepping stones and flowers to the inside of the card.

Next, up is the adorable Camp Trailer Die!

Guys, I’m so excited about this camper die!! My dream is to one day own a vintage camper and I had so much fun designing my own little camper even if it was only paper!

IMG_3194

I basically die cut all the components out of white cardstock and then ink blended the die cuts to add color. I did use sliver cardstock for other components of the campers and of course for the body of my “airstream” trailer.

Once I finished ink blending, I adhering all the components together. I then diecut a top-folding card base with the trailer die to make a shaped card and then adhered the trailers to the front.

I finished the cards with a heat embossed sentiment using the Wild and Free Stamp Set and matching dies.

And last is the cute Hope the Hedgehog Stamp Set!

IMG_3195

Isn’t she too cute! She expresses so much excitement and joy that I decided to turn her into a wobble!!

IMG_3199

I first stamped a sentiment from the Cheering For You Stamp Set onto an A2 panel of colored cardstock. I then stamped a background with one of the sports balls in the set with corresponding colored ink.

Next, I stamped my other images and then copic colored them. I then created my own wobble and tomorrow I’ll share a video on how I did that. After I created the wobble, I then adhered it my card and then added Hope and her accessory to the wobble!!

And that’s it! I hope you enjoyed!! Thank you so much for stopping by!!
